His best friend of 25 years, Kyle Johnson, agreed. "We can't say we're a big tent party and at the same time exclude people like me just because my lifestyle makes you uncomfortable. If you don't like guns, don't own one", he noted.
Polls have consistently shown that more and more Americans are embracing gun rights in the 21st century, yet top Democrat Party officials stubbornly refuse to budge from the party's antiquated, cold war era, staunch anti-gun rhetoric. What will be the breaking point? A poll last year indicated the Democrats are alienating millions of potential voters that might otherwise be inclined to vote Democrat, as fully 61% of Democrats now say they either own guns or have a close friend or family member that does. Democrats in Washington, meanwhile, are moving backwards at lightning speed.
