Disagree. Being nominated as VP carries a lot of power.
Think of George W and Dick Cheney. Would Cheney have had as much influence with the press, interactions with the world, policy, etc if he wasn’t VP?
No way. If Cheney was just behind the scenes, that would have been good. But by putting Cheney in as VP, he showed that the Republican ticket was serious.
Just as if Trump selects Newt. It would show he is serious about getting things done in the first 100 days. Newt is very action oriented and is the most capable of getting Trumps agenda done in the first 100 days, all the while, being out there and slaying the liberal media.
What cab you do with them to protect you self OUTSIDE YOUR HOME.
So was South Carolina. As well as the audiences at the first debates.
And then the RNC started stacking the audience with Mitt hacks.
Newt...he would be the Clinton’s kryptonite.
Newt chief of staff. He needs a hard core mechanic on how things work. Newt has had plenty of time to think what he would do if he ever had the power again. My guess is he would be far more effective as Chief of staff.
Pence? He folds up like a cheap suit whenever he is really challenge by the left. His retreat before the homosexual Nazis was pathetic. A whimp. Trump deserves better. And I am a Cruz guy.
I do. And so do my friends.
we need someone to hammer Lizzie Warren at the debates!
No, I see Newt as Chief of Staff (which is a far more powerful and influential role than VP).
The lying liberal media as well as the clinton war room are so scared if newt is nominated as VP. They are soooo hoping for Pence. It’s very obvious.
And it Trump selects Pence over Newt, they will be the FIRST to bash Trump saying he was so stupid to not select Newt and then they will be honest about all the reasons why they were afraid Newt was going to be VP.
Even thought the lying liberal media doesn’t want Newt, because they know they can’t play him, if Newt is excited, behind closed doors they will acknowledge that Trump choosing NEWT is only going to help Trump pre and post inauguration over any other candidate. AND they are going to acknowledge that TV ratings will be up even more if Newt is VP.
Sorry but the two assertions in your sentence don’t seem to work together.
You wrote....
“Newt is an outsider.... He personally knows Cheney, both George and W, he has known and worked with everyone.”
Newt can help Trump quite a bit without being VP.
That’s definitely a red flag.
So the Chief of Staff is going to get treated the same way as the VP as it relates to meeting with foreign countries and wielding influence internationally?
Will Newt if Chief of Staff unintentionally upstage whoever the VP is at any meeting? Newt is of the caliber, not by his own ego, but strictly by his intelligence and experience that people will want to know his opinion and insight on every matter. That kind of insight deserves the respect of being nominated as VP.
Who knows what to believe? A Yahoo News article today said that Don and Eric were pushing for Christie, while Ivanka wanted Newt and Manafort was backing Pence. Now CNN claims that Trumps kids actually want Pence. Did Manafort convince them over to his cause or are the presstitutes simply making up things?
Sorry but I think you are delusional. If he picks Newt he will be spending political energy defending Newt and his ethic violations and resignation and all the other crap from 20 years ago... That’s where Hillary is and that is NOT where Trump needs to be.
“Duncan Hunter Jr. Is my pick.”
I could go along with that.
Duncan D Hunter would be a great pick
Bolton SOS
Gaffney SOD
Mark Levin AG
Cruz for SCOTUS
We need a Homeland Security chief that likes to WHACK Copperheads!! Thoughts?
Dr. Carson as Surgeon General
Give the rest back to the states.
I’m thinking this is all a fake, and am guessing Trump may go with Sen. Tom Cotton of AR. Young, conservative, Christian, pro-life, pro-defense, former Congresscritter, Army, Captain, Infantry, Ranger tab, Airborne, Iraq & Afghanistan, CIB, lawyer, Harvard, wife & toddler son.
