Donald Trump is gaining ground on Hillary Clinton among likely voters in the battleground state of Wisconsin, according to the latest Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday.
While 45 percent of respondents said they would vote for the presumptive Democratic nominee when matched head-to-head against Trump, 41 percent said they will support the presumptive Republican nominee, and 9 percent said they would support neither candidate. Clinton led by nine points against Trump in last month's survey, 46 percent to 37 percent, with 13 percent who said they would support neither candidate.
"There's good evidence here" that the race is tightening in the Midwestern state," poll director Charles Franklin said during the poll's announcement Wednesday afternoon.

Hillary had no shot without the email scandal. The email scandal just means instead of at best winning 15 states she’s at best not going to get 10.
I didn’t think Hillary would lose by 1980 numbers but daily it looks more and more like it it will be 1980 type loss and possibly even a 1984 type loss.
Hillary only has 1 thing between now and November that will give her a bump.. The post convention bump that’s it. Her trajectory is steady downward... The press will try to pretend this is a race but by sept/oct dems will be desperately just trying to hold states no one thought would go republican.
Ii agree and have said this for a long time even when everyone was saying Trump can’t beat Hillary so vote for their guy. Reality is Trump was and is the ONLY one who can not only beat Hillary but absolutely trounce her.
Of the rust belt only 3 states have had any chance of going dem this cycle, MN because it’s MN. Let’s face or that state is just a lost cause... WI, and only because the never trump poisoning during the primaries by the GOPe may have made it too toxic for Trump (this appears to look like it won’t be the case), and finally IL, because of Chicago... But honestly Rahm has made such a mess in Chicago that protest votes and low turnout could indeed allow the rest of the state to not be overwhelmed by Chicago and even that state could wing up Republican. None of the other Rust Belt States does Hillary have any shot at winning... Election night will be over very early in terms of knowing Trump has it won... Seeing the full scope of his win will be the only reason anyone will need to be up past 10.
Love your analysis. It makes my heart sing.
