Over 40 people were arrested after a protest shut down southbound Interstate 35W near University Avenue Wednesday morning.
A large group of people protesting the fatal shooting of Philando Castile began to gather on the I-35W bridge at University Avenue around 7:40 a.m.

So many people with nothing to do during working hours...hmmmmm....
“working hours”........what chew be talk’en bout Willis
Arrest them all (wish they could be tortured as well). They're not doing it to get our sympathy, they're doing it to annoy us. So annoy them back by arrest and fines... hopefully heavy fines that can't be waived.
This cop will be found innocent and walking but end up like the poor bastard on the Ferguson PD due to ignorant black fools
Why would they waste a vacation day to go do that stuff?
The media needs to learn the difference between a peaceful Productive protest and creating mayhem. Stopping traffic on a major roadway is just mayhem. If you really want to have an effective protest have a sit in outside the jail.
Enough with the “Minnesota Nice” already...
...call in the “scoops”!
So just deduct it twice.
I like the idea of impounding the cars. But there’s a good chance some of them are stolen, anyway, so solves nothing.
MN must have some big snow plow trucks. Three of them side by side should clear the road pretty fast.
This is the bridge that collapsed a few years back.
Actually not the “same” bridge.
Those astro turf agitators are PAID an HOURLY WAGE!! I think they even might be paid by a George Soros company.
I see a bunch of useful white idiots in that crowd. The people should have gotten out of their cars and started kicking some liberal ass.
As well, they need to read the Constitution. It's number one on the Bill of Rights:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Hey CBS!
It’s not an I-35W protest. It’s a I-35W trespass.
FUCBS and your false narrative.
I work about a mile from there and was at work before these a-holes pulled this crap. Semi’s need to plow thru these aholes cars next time.... and there will be a next time, because the cops are either hobbled or incompetent at clearing them out pronto.
Tear gas, tazers, batons, done. Not redirecting traffic..
