Palin doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Her strengths are too similar to Trump’s. He needs a better complement.
I don't know who it will be, but it's a sure bet that Trump and that person know and have known the plan for quite a while now.
I could be wrong, of course, but for any number of reasons Trump generally seems several steps ahead of the average radio, cable or antenna TV personality's predictions.
He's political, as the principle of politics is universal, but he's not a professional politician and isn't playing the same game as the talking heads are used to.
But, otoh, he seems to completely understand the talking heads' game and that's been a great deal of fun to watch!
Oh, I know. I am confident Trump will choose exactly the right person for his purposes - Winning. He can worry about succession later.
But sometimes, don’t you just want to stick it in and break it off? Sarah would set the prairie on fire and that is a very dangerous thing but after the way she was treated I would love to see it.
Bush II picking Cheney helped him in the West. It solidified the rural white vote.
Looking to me like he is going to pick Newt.
Newt will be an absolute machete on the campaign trail.
Will do an excellent job slashing away at Democrat nonsense.
My main concern is that he’s as old as Trump. We need to groom someone younger to take over so that the Bush crowd does not wrest control of the party back in eight years. Perhaps Newt could step aside after the first term.
My choice is Jeff Sessions.
Sessions, with him I know the WALL will be built and the illegals gone.

The only thing I know about Pence is that he cowardly surrendered to the gaystapo when they threatened a boycott of Indiana over a proposed Religious Freedom law. He couldn’t capitulate fast enough. That tells me all I need to know about Pence.

As someone else has posted, it seems that the law as written would have had a hard time being upheld and it would have been a damaging precedent. The decision was strategic. I don’t know the circumstances. But I do believe Pence’s convictions remain the same, and he does not favor SSM. He is a Christian.

Harry Truman was an unqualified socialist dog, he’s remembered fondly by lib historians who deliberately chose to rehabilitate his image, he was as popular as dirt for most of his Presidency and was handed major midterm beatdowns in 1946 and 1950. If RINO Dewey hadn’t run a lackluster race in 1948, Harry would have been out on his butt. If you want to fixate on him dropping the bomb (as almost anyone would have done) and say he’s the best rat of the 20th Century, fine. But that’s like saying he’s the least deadly strain of the plague.
The last democrat President who wasn’t slime was Grover Cleveland, before him, Polk.
Henry Wallace wouldn’t have used the bomb.
