At least four online fundraising campaigns on a popular website have raised more than $310,000 in less than a week on behalf of the loved ones of Philando Castile, who was fatally shot by a police officer in Falcon Heights.
Representatives of the family, however, advised in an e-mail on Tuesday that all donations be sent to Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church at 501 W. Lawson Av. in St. Paul and not to the GoFundMe efforts.
-snip - ...Burgin is directing potential donors to a GoFundMe page set up by Allysza Castile, Philandos sister.
So far, her page has collected more than $68,000, and the doubters have surfaced there as well. One wrote: This is the 3rd gofundme page for your family members funeral. It looks like the family is making money off this mans death. Im sorry. This is just wrong.
Another GoFundMe page was initiated by Verquisha Powers, who said she has been friends for roughly 10 years with Philando Castile and his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, the woman in the car when Castile was shot. Her page stands at more than $53,900.

Black crimes matter.
They’re “entitled.”
Let’s have a National GoFundMe account for slavery reparations. However, there should be an appropriate tax at both ends. 40 percent ought to be enough.
Anyone can go and start a gofundme episode with Castile’s name. If you ask me....the minute you have a martyr for the cause....you need to jump into gofundme with the guy’s name....take the quick and easy $50,000 to $100,000 that roll in and depart.
It was many, many weeks before we knew the truth about Saint Trayvon, the Gentle Giant,Duke LaCrosse, etc.I’m gonna wait for more info before deciding who to believe here...either “you told him to get his license,sir”...or “I told him not to move” (shouted in a very forceful manner).
I think we already have most of the story:
galpal video (7minute mark): the officer asked the driver for his license and reg. The driver let the officer know he was CCW -and as he reached - in his back pocket - and the officer - told him not to move - and as he was putting his arms back up.....
this fits with the officer at the beginning of the video, “I told him not to reach for it, I told him to put his hand(s) up”.
The gun was in the front left. The shots were to the left arm. What we need to know is, was the wallet in the rear left? If so, can’t get to the rear without passing a hand by the front. But left or right, it all goes back to the $64K question, why wasn’t the ID out at the ready? What was the point of waiting to be asked for it? That’s the part that doesn’t fit for me.
why would anyone drive with a gun on their lap?
Verquisha?
Aren’t people donating voluntarily?
I want to know why the cops didn’t order them out of the car first before shooting with a four year old in the back seat? And why wasn’t the child screaming after the shots? Seemed weird.
The dash cam video and audio hasn’t been released yet, nor is there any outcry to have it released.
The officer is going to be exonerated in my opinion, and rightly so.
I hope Scrumptious or Delicious or Lavish, or whatever her name is, comes up empty in this money chase.
hahahahahaha
all used ebt cards
what kind of douchebag would support this dead thug’s family..???
maybe soros...
What makes you think he had a valid driver’s license to begin with ?
I don’t think that would have caused him not to have the CCW permit out. He could have talked his way out of no DL, or got a ticket and the galpal takes the wheel and off they go. Something else made him hesitate.
