Well since you give no evidence or reasons for your statement, it is difficult to discuss it.
Ryan is the chairman of the convention so his ability to speak at it is pretty much guaranteed by his position.

Paul Ryan won’t have a job soon. What’s the point giving him a platform? Audition for a job as lobbyist or think-tank chair-warmer?
The RNC convention will blow out all expectations.
Like Trump, Manafort is the happy warrior.
To me it seems like Manafort is the guy they brought in to make Trump lose.

No wonder Ryan is begging to speak, because he needs to project his vanbted speaker image to recover in the polls. Ryan has not endorsed Trump, who should without hesitation feed Ryan to the sharks. (If Trump doesn’t, then he is likely not able to be president.)
