Glendening said Johnson was set to be removed from the Army in September 2014 because of the incident, but instead got an honorable discharge months later — for reasons he can't understand.

'Someone really screwed up,' he said. 'But to my client's benefit.'

And a friend of Johnson's, who served in the same platoon, told Fox News that after returning from Afghanistan, he fell in with a 'bad folks and went all Black Panther.'

‘Someone really screwed up,’

BS, someone did not want to get into a hassle and “hurt” his future. Probably some lib A hole. So, they denigrate others who actually have honorable discharges and award one to this vermin.

Between this guy and Berdohl, I am beginning to wonder what the hell is going on.

he fell in with a 'bad folks

He was already "bad folks." Otherwise he was what, a choirboy, then bad friends convinced him to whack out some cops?

The liberal left and their illusions. And the more we dig into their hero's lives, the more dirt we find.

I would say that he gets an ‘other than honorable discharge’ from this life as he steps into eternity.

Just out of curiosity I wonder what race the harassed female soldier is?

'In his case, it was apparently so egregious, it was not just the act itself,' Glendening told The Associated Press.

I guess he asked her out three times instead of two.

If we are to assign blame, it is likely the policies of the Obama administration.

The message that has been sent, emphatically, is to give black offenders a pass.

Who made the decision to give him an honorable discharge? It is not his local unit.

If you have a less than honorable discharge, you do not pass the background check.

This black racists and cop killer has more in common with Somalia than America.

He shares a lot in cummon with the rape thugs from Somalia that Obama is attacking us with in an attempt to commit cultural genocide on the rest of us.

What a real pos. We judge him on his character. A very bad one and now he inherits the reward of hell he chose.

Wow, the words from his attorney are pretty damning.

“....The Army sent him stateside, recommending an ‘other than honorable discharge,’ said Bradford Glendening, the military lawyer who represented him.

That recommendation was ‘highly unusual,’ Bradford said, since counseling is usually ordered before more drastic steps are taken’

‘In his case, it was apparently so egregious, it was not just the act itself,’ Glendening told The Associated Press. ‘I’m sure that this guy was the black sheep of his unit.’....”

Someone sure did screw up. That someone needs to explain this screwup.

Ahh, NBP are just a social group....with a heavy mooselimb foundation

King Samir Shabazz, a former Nation of Islam member and head of the New Black Panther Party’s Philadelphia chapter, has a long history of confrontational racist behavior. He advocated racial separation and made incendiary racial statements while promoting anti-police messages in the media and on the streets of Philadelphia. He publicly announced, “I hate white people. All of them.” He also suggested the killing of white babies.[19][20][21][22][23] Shabazz was arrested in June 2013 for carrying a loaded, unlicensed weapon.[24] The party has claimed his arrest is part of an “onslaught of attacks against the New Black Panther Party.

5 years and still a PFC? That classifies as a total F-up. Was he honorably discharged?

I wonder how I knew that something like this was going to come out after the “media” reported that he was a former Army guy who served in Afghanistan. I knew right away that he had probably been thrown out of the military.
