Hillary: ‘I’m Going To Be Talking To White People,’

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” presumptive Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated, “I’m going to be talking to white people. I think we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cries that are coming from our African-American fellow citizens,”

She concluded the discussion on policing and race with, “I have been involved in working to try to close the racial divide my entire adult life. I’ve worked on issues of criminal justice reform, incarceration, juvenile justice, for many decades, and I’m heartbroken that we have to keep repeating and doing that work year after year, but I am determined, and I am persistent. And I will call for white people, like myself, to put ourselves in the shoes of those African-American families who fear every time their children go somewhere, who have to have the talk about, you know, how to really protect themselves, when they’re the ones who should be expecting protection from encounters with the police. I’m going to be talking to white people. I think we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cries that are coming from our African-American fellow citizens, and we have so much more to be done, and we’ve got to get about the business of doing it. We can’t be engaging in hateful rhetoric, or incitement of violence.

Agree. So much truth unfortunately that she was treated as above the law. How does she think she can now pivot to the african american community as having been in their shoes? What a hypocrite. She was just got a 'Get out of Jail' card free. So how is she suppose harass law abiding citizens who just happen to be white? This truly is the worst thing she has said in awhile.

And the pic below is truly EPIC. So much irony and truth in that what she has done is 1,000,000 times worse than what Nixon did. And she was fired while on the staff against Nixon for arguing that Nixon shouldn't have representation. Even more than that, the chief Liberal lead of the Dems said Clinton was fired because she had no ethics and lied all the time.

Fast forward decades later, and she is still lying and working the system day in and day out. She only felt safe to take about EmailGate because all eyes were on the horrific murders of police officers in Dallas. She only agreed to a Wolf Blitzer interview because the questions AND answers were coordinated ahead of time and she knew everyone was talking about yesterdays murderers. But she still messed up. She is going to lecture White America when she herself should have been indicted. Hillary has truly become the fake unelectable emperor with no clothes.

Statement in itself reflects her position to complete the division facing US as a Nation!Bigger than this sows political ambitions. You will never solve the problem until the BLM types realize that fighting the cops is NEVER a good idea. If you have a encounter, comply with the officer. Never fight them. If you end up in jail, that is is want lawyers and court are for.

I agree. And one thing that can diffuse the BLM movement is the thought that all the American People are happy to show solidarity with the Black community in the cases where there really IS a problem with policing.

s a conservative/libertarian Patriot, I've seen ample evidence that police can be totally out of control in some instances, and I thing such incidents rarely have anything to do with the color of anyone's skin. Whether it's federal cases like Randy Weaver and Waco, or the recent Rancher & related incidents out West, there are plenty of Law Enforcement abuses to be found. And their must be accountability when the police screw up.

But, inasmuch as the problem exists at all, it's certainly not a racial problem. It's an issue for all Americans to solve together, united. This whole divisive attitude is just wrong for every American.

Cultural balkanization will never be the answer in an Ideal and truly Free America.

And that means that those who want to do the crazy stuff need to be repudiated by all Americans at every social and economic level, from those in power to those with no power.

Anyone politicians who try to capitalize on such divisiveness are dangerous misled, un-American fools.

Does anybody else remember that PSA they had after 9/11? "I am an American"? I loved that. And that's when being an American should make everybody feel like.

Just an observation.
Trump has 8.9 Million FB followers.
In the 10 hours since Trump posted on FB about Dallas, it has seen 5.5 Million views (61.8% ratio), 246.5 K likes (of which I am one), 120.2 K shares and 17.2 K comments.
( I noted earlier it had seen 3.5 million views in the first 3 hours. )

TheNag (That is her name in this house) has 4.3 Million FB followers.
In the 11 hours since TheNag posted the Philadelphia AME Church Conference speech, it has seen 292 K views (6.7% ratio), 21.7 K likes (of which I am not one), 3.2 K shares, and about the same number of comments at 17.6 K.

What it tells me is when people are seeking leadership, by a huge margin they are looking to Trump, and not to TheNag.

Just some optimism I thought worth sharing.
