New doubts on Zika as cause of microcephaly
Science Daily ^ | 6/24/2016 | Staff

Brazil's microcephaly epidemic continues to pose a mystery...if Zika is the culprit, why are there no similar epidemics in other countries also hit hard by the virus? In Brazil, the microcephaly rate soared with more than 1,500 confirmed cases. But in Colombia, a recent study of nearly 12,000 pregnant women infected with Zika found zero microcephaly cases. If Zika is to blame for microcephaly, where are the missing cases? Perhaps there is another reason for the epidemic in Brazil. According to a new report by the New England Complex Systems Institute (NECSI), the number of missing cases in Colombia and elsewhere raises serious questions about the assumed connection between Zika and microcephaly.

Recently, the New England Journal of Medicine published the preliminary results of a large study of pregnant Colombian women infected with Zika. Of the nearly 12,000 pregnant women with clinical symptoms of Zika infections until March 28, no cases of microcephaly were reported as of May 2. At the same time, four cases of Zika and microcephaly were reported for women who were symptomless for Zika infections and therefore not included in the study itself. Is it possible that more time is needed for births to give rise to the high numbers seen in Brazil? The numbers don't add up according to the NECSI report. The Zika and microcephaly cases that are not part of the study show that there are many more pregnancies affected by Zika without symptoms. Because there are four cases of microcephaly with Zika, and none in the study, there should be about four times as many cases of Zika that are unreported. This means there are at least 60,000 Zika-infected pregnancies in Colombia...

Cover up? Conspiracy? Too early to tell? The Zika virus has been known for decades (most likely much longer) and never previously linked to Microcephaly. Brazil, the epicenter of microcephaly cases, has had a few interested thing occur in the last few years...

1. Mandating vaccinations of pregnant women
2. Genetically engineering mosquitoes
3. Use of the pesticide pyriproxyfen in drinking water

Any of these seem very dangerous compared to what is known regarding the Zika Virus itself. It should not be of any comfort to "thinking minds" to consider that global elites (including the Obama Administration, Bill Gates, United Nations, and others) want to reduce the world population by 90% using vaccinations and other innovative means. South America is one of the last hold outs against non-therapeutic abortion. Microcephaly is changing this. Cover up? Conspiracy? Too early to tell...?

What about the Haitian woman who flew here just so her baby could be born here? That baby was born with microcephaly.

#3. Sounds very dangerous and corrosive. Bug poison Pyriproxyfen in the water?!! Was this deliberate or an accident? Just last year, an American family in the Caribbean entered their bedroom that had been newly fumigated. Three of the four family members remain paralyzed and coping with neural dysfunction to this day. They received about $14 million in a settlement. Small comfort.

We do not know if she was in Brazil prior to coming here. We don’t know if the same pesticides are used in Haitian water. We don’t know if Haiti forces pregnant women to get vaccinated. The article addresses some of this...

I don’t care about zika. I don’t like illegals but zika is not a reason to dislike them more.

“One possibility that has been raised is the pesticide pyriproxyfen, which is applied to drinking water in some parts of Brazil to kill the larvae of the mosquitos that transmit Zika...”

Am I reading right that this is a pesticide that interrupts metabolism of Vitamin A? And if so, who was the Einstein that decided to put this in the water supply that waters veggies?

She traveled outside the U.S. to areas known for Zika. There's no evidence she contracted it here.

That being said, I agree with keeping illegals, and the diseases they carry, out of the United States.

Did she have Zola? Was it the cause of the microencephaly?

Those are the questions being asked....and rightfully so

What should I start caring about?

I am currently caring about the long term future of the USA. What do you suggest I should care about instead?

I never had any doubt from the very beginning that Zika had nothing to do with microencephaly.

Obola needs crises to give money away to his peeps. Zika enabled him to ask congress for 1.7 billion dollars to give to them.

Any questions?

One or two.

The genetically engineered mosquitos or the forced vaccination of the unborn. Pregnant women are not allowed to take Advil, but they can have vaccines shoved right into their blood system that inflame the entire immune system and get into the baby’s neuro system?

Diseased immigrants is not a reason to like them any more, either.

Our immigration policies used to keep diseased people, out. A lot of wite europeans were turned away because of tb and other diseases.

It is part of protecting the country’s health.

Government checks for zika infection is not something that I want imposed on immigrants. It wastes taxpayer money.
