At least one sniper in Dallas killed five police officers and wounded seven more in a coordinated attack that ended when police used a bomb to kill a shooter who told them he wanted to kill white officers, authorities said Friday.
The attack came during one of several protests across the United States against the killing of two black men by police this week, the latest in a long string of killings that gave rise to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Police described Thursday night's ambush as carefully planned and executed and said they had taken three people into custody before killing the fourth after a long standoff in a downtown garage.

I wish I understood your post.
If the f@cker was booked and processed, let’s see his damn face!
Larger PD's have robots to approach and detonate bombs placed by terrorists or perps.
One of the devices immediately available to those PD's are small explosive devices designed to destroy or detonate a terrorist or perp's placed bomb. Those devices are remotely detonated, and CAN kill a human, although they are not intended for that purpose.
Law Enforcement Facts
Key Data about the Profession
There are more than 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers now serving in the United States, which is the highest figure ever. About 12 percent of those are female.
According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports, an estimated 1,165,383 violent crimes occurred nationwide in 2014, a decrease of 0.2 percent from the 2013 estimate.
Crime fighting has taken its toll. Since the first recorded police death in 1791, there have been over 20,000 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Currently, there are 20,789 names engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
A total of 1,439 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past 10 years, an average of one death every 61 hours or 144 per year. There were 123 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in 2015.

New York City has lost more officers in the line of duty than any other department, with 705 deaths. Texas has lost 1,682 officers, more than any other state. The state with the fewest deaths is Vermont, with 23.
There are 1,102 federal officers listed on the Memorial, as well as 668 correctional officers and 36 military law enforcement officers.
There are 292 female officers listed on the Memorial; eleven female officers were killed in 2015.

It is said that Jack Ruby was a man dying of cancer who was coerced into killing Oswald to keep him from talking any further about what really went down.
No offense intended but quite frankly, you cannot depend on anything the FBI or major crime agencies say or do any more. Using them as a source might as well be a source from Wiki or from SNOPES or from Politifact - Bullshit.
Well, the Philadelphia police dropped a bomb from a state police helicopter in 1985 against MOVE and ended up burning up scores of homes.
Anti American radicals (or terrorists) can plan an attack (or "demonstration") well before a triggering event takes place, then operate quickly to try to reinforce the narrative of underclass oppression and anger towards the American culture and society.
Soros pays people to do this and be ready at a moments notice to do this.
Come to think of it, DemoRats do this, too.
I’m curious that this was supposedly a BLM march to protest two killings a very short time ago. How did they get organized this quickly and do such an effective job of ambush? Call me paranoid, but it sounds like these folks were already trained for the job and just waiting to be deployed. Who issued the order?
These miscreants are using a false narrative to push their lawlessness. These are sociopaths. Underneath all the noise, this is ultimately about those who want to obey/uphold the law and a bunch of criminals. We need to come down on them hard.
I understand about Jack Ruby but I have no idea why he said that about what I posted. I suggested that the organizers of that particular Black
Loves Matter protest, also organized the shooting.
“Police used bomb”
Must be getting advice from Philadelphia, the city that bombed its own.
Odd that we haven’t seen the names or faces of the perps/suspects yet.
Granted, those names will be reviled (and probably threatened) within a few seconds of release. But we have a right to know.
Of course, it is still early in the discovery phase. There will be much more to digest in the days ahead.
Do we know snipers identity?
Or cover up will happen.
Correct, and that was the last time that I remember of police deliberately premeditating and using a "bomb" in a civilian situation.
Needless to say, it was a world class screw up.
It's like the use of the term "gun violence" rather than gang violence - all designed to plant the notion in people's minds that gun owners at large and groups like the NRA are responsible for these deaths, as opposed to the culture of crime and social dysfunction that's epidemic in the black community.
See #28.
It never stops the media from releasing names and photos of police officers accused of killing "innocent" blacks.
Gotta be an agenda in there somewhere...
Only if it's me that sent the coordinates.
