I’m inclined to agree, but it should be up to the employer. However, if you raise the employment bar, be prepared to raise compensation too.

A plant that is described twice in the first chapter of Genesis. The first time it is to establish it was made by Him. The second time he presents it to us as the first gift to mankind. A plant that prevents blindness! Physically and spiritually. It pretty much fed, clothed, and housed mankind since before recorded history. How could such a useful plant suddenly become criminal?
I am with you. I know a lot of drunks who can work. I know a lot of potheads that can work. Both are dangerous if they are actively high on the job. But a pothead doesn’t show up to work with a reeking hangover.
