Full title: EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Clinton advisers feel she has better White House shot against Mitt Romney than Jeb Bush
Hillaryland is ready for Romney.
Advisers to Hillary Clinton said the former secretary of state has a better shot of winning the White House in a race against former Mitt Romney than she does against Jeb Bush.
Clinton confidants and other Democrats said in interviews that they view Romney as the weaker Republican opponent in a general election, unlikely to get a second chance from the key swing group of independents who made up their minds about him just two years ago.
I would like to run against Mitt Romney in every election forever, said former Obama staffer Tommy Vietor, who also worked on Clintons book tour last summer.

The article explains the so called Never Trump movement.
The Democrats want to run against Romney. They felt they could easily defeat Jeb, but Romney was their choice.
They don't even try to be discrete about it. They allow themselves to be quoted directly insulting Romney. That is how much they wanted Romney to be the Republican nominee. They knew he would lose.
The Democrats are scared to death of Trump. That is why they are trying to get Republicans to support Romney as the nominee.
Romney himself is so clueless and egotistical he thinks people actually like him.
The Never Trump people are Clinton surrogates. They are afraid Trump will win. They are working with Romney to get him the Republican nomination.
Do you know anyone who wants Milt to be the nominee?
I voted for Romney, now I despise him, he truly proved himself to be a defective human being.
In light of FBI Director Comeys revelations before Congress today, here is the trailer for the blockbuster movie Hillarys America, to be in theaters later this month! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7e6gLht6OQ&feature=youtu.be
You mean, other than Mitt himself? No, I don’t.
The argument stated is faulty. I am no Romney fan, but the fact is he got the independents by a good margin. The argument that he would never get second chance from independents is simply not true. Obama got the base turned out in a way no one thought possible.
“Do you know anyone who wants Milt to be the nominee?”
Not personally.
But Romney has been attacking Trump and has been behind the so called Never Trump movement. Romney desperately wants the nomination for himself.
Everyone has a better chance against Romney
Yeah, the ‘Rats would love to run again against Romneykins. No dice, ‘Rats!!
Mittens is RINO scum.
After Mittens lambasted Trump, called him a fraud, etc, earlier this year - after enthusiastically accepting Trump’s endorsement and $ contributions in 2012 - I realized I was foolish to vote for Mittens in 2012.
of course she does...
anyone could beat Willard...
The two people I know who were big Romney supporters (Mormon) are now being told by the Mormon Church to back Hillary.
No offense but I can hardly think of a less relevant article for today.
Clinton knows what to expect from the status quo Republicans. She has no idea what to expect from Trump.
So, naturally, she would rather debate Romney. One shot over his bow and she wins, just like Obama did in the 2012 debates.
If the convention rebellion against Trump fails, and Trump is the nominee, look for Clinton to try to find some way of getting out of debating him.
Romney come out with any statements on Comey’s decision ?
You can take it to the bank that, if the Pubbie rebellion dumps Trump and replaces him with Romney, 13 million who voted for Trump in the primaries are NOT going to vote for the establishment Republican replacement, be it Romney or Ryan or Cruz or Kasich or jBush or Mickey Mouse.
Trump won the nomination in the primaries by the rules established. Changing the rules to deseat him is certainly unfair.
Dump Trump and the Pubbies will lose the Senate and likely lose the House by 2018. And that will give Clinton a clean sweep to get any legislation she wants passed. Likely that will neuter the Second Amendment and the First Amendment. And look for upwards of 6 new SCJustices in the next 8 years.
former Mitt Romney? I like that
I’m pretty much finished with the GOP. Once Trump is out of the picture, either in November, in four years or in eight years (hopefully), I’m registering as an Independent and can’t imagine voting for the typical modern Republican again, unless things significantly change.
