House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said at his press conference on Wednesday that Congress will “look into” whether Congress can deny former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton access to classified information, if she becomes the presidential nominee, saying, “it’s the least we can do.” […]

“I’ve just got to say, from my own experience, you get access to deeply classified material once you leave the convention as the nominee, on a regular basis,” he said. “It’s part of a transition government.”

“With no indictment occurring, but a discussion or a call for administrative action, I think it’s the least we can do, given how she was so reckless in handling classified material and sending classified information on unsecure servers,” said the speaker. …

I think Ryan should set up a committee, determine a fair and balanced list of members, set an agenda, ask for material, schedule hearings and then write a report.....someday.

HOR Republican committees.....where valid issues go to die.

Ryan showing he is a wimpy coward. He wouldn’t stand up to the guy, Obama, at any point during the last seven years, but now that a girl is involved he is showing how tough he is.

Existence of said agencies does not verify their constitutionality, either way.

Even the Treasury Department’s constitutionality is not established. The power to “coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin” is given to Congress by the Constitution, not the executive branch; “delegating” that power to the executive branch is a deliberate destruction of the separation of powers, even from the establishment of the USA.

Saying he’s a “coward” implies that he believed in conservative Constitutional principles in the first place. I do not think he ever did, and he instead is rather ardent about standing up for Obama rather than to him (and the same applies to the “presumptive Democratic nominee”).

PS. That is a circular argument that does not explain the constitutionality thereof, with all due respect.

Bill Clinton overhauled the rules regarding security clearances. The president is the decider as to who has to have one and drafted the process for getting one.

IF CONGRESS HAD ANY CAJONES THEY WOULD IMMEDIATELY JAIL HILLARY FOR PERJURY!

They have the authority and the proof in Comey’s list of each item where she perjured herself in her testimony before Congress while under oath.

Ryan and Congress won’t do anything......

“Existence of said agencies does not verify their constitutionality, either way.”

So what? Do you want to ask whether Congress has control over internal Executive branch designations? Or do you want to ask whether the executive agencies are all “constitutional”? Because those are two entirely different questions. I’ve answered the first one, not the second.

I think it’s a fair question. Too many people are saying “so what” to rule of law these days.

Trump should videotape the meeting where the Government explains security process and policies for confidentential information.

Then add a laugh track, and post to youtube
