Now would be the perfect time for Ted Cruz to endorse Trump.

He can use this news to say that we must stop Clinton at the ballot box if our institutions of government oversight can no longer be trusted to do their duty to the people, and that's why we must put Donald Trump in the White House.

This way, Cruz won't be seen as giving in or caving, but instead will be hailed as recognizing what is necessary and best for the country.
