To be clear this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions but thats not what were deciding here.

Last week, Bill Clinton met with the US Attorney General to “talk about grandchildren.” Saturday, the FBI interviewed Hillary Clinton at her home for 3 1/2 hours. Three days later, over a national holiday, the FBI has compiled a complete report and announces there will be no prosecution. Has our system ever been more rotten and corrupt? Never. They are destroying confidence in our legal system. You are famous, you get a pass. You are an ordinary person, you go to jail. No wonder the Attorney General said she would accept the recommendations given to her. She already knew what it would be.
I do believe that Comey was intimidated.
Listen to his voice. This is not the voice of a career law enforcement official. He had a nervousness in his voice, ran through the statement, ended the briefing and took no questions.
Bet Hillary has his FBI file also.
No one would throw away their life long integrity that easily. He was “convinced” that it is in his best interest.
frightening.
We don’t. Time to ‘end the experiment’! All or nothing at all
Now we aren’t any different than some Banana Republic. Hillary can’t be prosecuted because she’s a Clinton, but some working stiff who does something far less severe will go straight to jail.
Basically, an ordinary peon who didn’t have 900 FBI files to use as leverage would be facing a long federal stay in a nice secure location.
Peak FBI Corruption? Meet Bryan Nishimura, Found Guilty For “Removal And Retention Of Classified Materials”
...What is even more shocking is that according to Comey, “we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts.”
Well, we did. Here is the FBI itself, less than a year ago, charging one Bryan H. Nishimura, 50, of Folsom, who pleaded guilty to “unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials” without malicious intent, in other words precisely what the FBI alleges Hillary did (h/t @DavidSirota):...
He's the fall guy. Not even forwarding the file to DOJ for their consideration.
I'd like to know the basis for sanctioning somebody who did what she did. Bascially, what she did was legal, and Comey is saying that a legal act can be sanctioned? Sanctioned by WHO, by what authority?
GilGil wrote: “Comey is basically admitting that she is guilty as hell but that he does not feel like recommending prosecution. Unbelievable!”
Disagree. Comey said “no reasonable prosecutor” would pursue the case. Prosecutors must consider the likelihood of a conviction. If we could not convict OJ, what makes you think any jury would convict Hillary? At least a third of the jury would be sporting “Free Hillary” tatoos.
FBI Director, James Comey & the entire FBI organization - Turncoat & Traitors to the USA!!! End of story!!!
Go Donald J. Trump!!!
SMOKING GUN right here. If this isn't INTENT TO VIOLATE THE LAW I don't know what is.
Wow, so many freepers were SO right — a real “straight shooter”!!!!
/s
If I were Trump, this would be my latest Tweet:
At the very least, security or administrative sanctions" should include not being elected to the office of President of the United States.
“Welcome to Venezuela.”
Bingo.
Hillary fits the profile of most third world politicians.
Decades spent in government, no accomplishments, but miraculously managed to become very rich in the process.
Look how many guys rot in jail because they smoked weed. Or they missed a child support payment!
This (rhymes with) runt gets to run for president?!?!?
Everyone knows H.Clinton is guilty, even the FBI Director who stood there sweating at the microphone knows it and stated she compromised everything.
