How a Clinton insider used his ties to build a consulting giant

When Hillary Clinton became secretary of state she personally sought out a man named Declan Kelly to be her economic envoy to Northern Ireland, giving her 41-year-old former fundraiser a special status outside normal diplomatic channels. “Yeah! Is he now official? Can I call him? Can I ask him to start?” she wrote in an Aug. 28, 2009 email to her chief of staff, Cheryl Mills....

...But while serving as Clinton’s special envoy, reaching out to global corporations for those investments, he was also working for two of them as a private consultant — earning about $2.4 million from Dow Chemical, a longtime client of his and one of the firms that participated in Clinton’s Ireland initiative. It was also during this time period that Kelly and Doug Band, a close aide to former President Bill Clinton, were preparing to launch a global consulting business that would soon become a well-known and controversial success story. Their new venture, Teneo Holdings, would go on to employ numerous Hillary Clinton associates, including her closest confidante, Huma Abedin, and, for a time, Bill Clinton as “honorary chairman,” giving clients rare access to the couple and their network of world leaders.

How Hillary employed a free-lance "fixer" with no accountability and lucrative outside contracts to be her special "economic" envoy to Northern Ireland.... and how the guy, Declan Kelly, went on to be a co-founder of the notorious Teneo Holdings, right during the period when he was schmoozing for the Clintons from a US Dept. of State perch.

Teneo Holdings is the firm packed with Clintonistas that has specialized in profiteering around Clinton access.

Huma has been paid by them for a while, and Bill Clinton was honorary chairman of Teneo (he was supposed to rake in a lot of money from them until it blew up on him and he quickly, quietly walked away with ‘only’ $100K).

This type of corruption happens at every level of government, starting with your local city council. I do NOT like Hillary Clinton highlighting only her gives all the other corrupt crooks a pass.

I don’t give any crooks “a pass” but Hillary is trying to be our next President, and would bring an unprecedented level of corrupt networks to the White House. She certainly deserves maximum scrutiny right NOW.

Then-US Sens Clinton and Corzine.

Then Sen Corzine was fresh out of Goldman Sachs executive suite. Corzine came from Wall Street to Capitol Hill. Then back to Wall Street to head a company that hired Bill Clinton @ $50,000 per month, AND also misplaced $1.3 Billion investor dollars.

THE CLINTON CORZINE CONNECTION: The NY Post reported Dec 2011 that Teneo was advising MF Global, the doomed international brokerage firm headed by former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine (and ex-US Senator). The firm paid Teneo an eye-popping $125,000 a month as it was imploding and losing millions for its investors. Bill Clinton was also pocketing at MF Global--- an astounding $50,000 per month.

EXHIBIT ONE Corzine was fresh out of Goldman Sachs executive suite, buying his NJ Senate seat office for $65 million; then buying the NJ governorship. Out of office, he ran a hedge fund where $1.5 B went missing....its advisor Teneo was connected to both Bill Clinton and then-Secy of State Hillary's top aide Huma Abedin.

EXHIBIT TWO When Chelsea Clinton's husband started a hedge fund, he gained access to investors who had ties to the Clintons and to Goldman Sachs. Back in 2011, Mezvinsky, now 37, and two former Goldman Sachs'ers — Bennett Grau and Mark Mallon — began raising money for Mezvinsky's Eaglevale Partners LP hedge fund.

Some of Mezvinsky's "investors" included Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein. Blankfein, a slavish Democrat supporter, said he had "always been a fan of Hillary Clinton."

The WSJ reported extensively on the hedge fund's underperformance since its inception and Mezvinsky's mediocre investing and strategizing.

THIS JUST IN---Bloomberg is reporting G/S's CEO Lloyd Blankfien is a newly-minted billionaire---and also has his own Foundation.

Mmmmmmmm....the sound of wire-transfers is almost palpable.

The IRS says the biggest money laundering, tax evasion fraud is one Foundation writing a check to another Foundation. The check receiver takes a cut, then wire-transfers the bulk to an offshore bank for the check-writer's use later ----- the way these "humanitarians" skim off-tax free dollars for themselves.
