I would assume that Roger Stone — a Trump operative and specialist in sordid rumors— was ultimately responsible.

And you assume wrong, it was Rubio’s campaign, not Trump’s that started the rumors.

“I can’t believe how naive, I was for so long believing my “party” was above the frey....in reality there are two parties...them and us.”

You are not by yourself. I woke up with McAinal and how he treated Sarah and refused to say or do anything to defeat Obama.

Romney was even worse and continues to be an elite anti American and pro Clinton/open border thug.

When our recent so called Republican congress gave Obama anything he wanted to weaken America and promote the dark side, that was my final straw.

Last year Trump started exposing the dark side of the GOPe from the candidates and the lying DC pundits, who hate America and love illegals and the $’s they get from the Saudis to other evil foreigners.

Now, all of the above are trying to keep our chosen candidate, Trump from being our president.

Anyone who claims to be unapologetic for supporting Cruz who can’t even keep a commitment.

How sad is it that sore loser Cruzers would rather refight the primary and justify Cruz’s patheticly divisive post primary campaign against Trump than battle Hillary Clinton. They show once again there was nothing principled or conservative about the Cruz campaign.

You are entirely mistaken. Cruz own spokesperson confirms that Ted was a full on Canadian citizen:

‘Spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said the Tea Party favorite formally gave up his citizenship May 14. He received official confirmation of the action at his Houston home Tuesday.’

snip

‘News that he had renounced his citizenship was first reported by the Dallas Morning News. The newspaper also broke that Cruz had dual Canadian-U.S. citizenship when he released his birth certificate in August.

Frazier said Cruz “is pleased to have the process finalized” and that it “makes sense he should be only an American citizen.”’

Trump called a Mexican citizen a Mexican.

Which, if you're an American, is in error. Because he is an American citizen.

Do you make a habit of identifying people by another country's citizenship standards, ignoring our own?

>Frankly, I really don’t know the answer to your question. Could it be that Rubio attacked Cruz based on political differences (even though specious) during the campaign? While Trump attacked Cruz and his family with nasty, personal insults?

So personal insults are worse than violating principles and betraying voters? What is this grade school? He called me a mean name and now I hate him forever and ever!

Don’t bother. Sore loser Cruzers have totally amnesia regarding the primary. Rafael “Papi” Cruz himself was smearing Trump’s religious belives in private to Evangelical groups as a Cruz campaign surrogate.

What Trump said was a fact. A Mexican citizen is a Mexican. That fact was the pertinent one re Trump’s treatment by the LaRaza judge.

But I have a suggestion. Since it was JR, site owner, who posted the thread about Curiel’s Mexican citizenship, why don’t you take it up with him? Tell him you’re offended that Trump referred to a Mexican citizen as a Mexican. Tell JR Trump made a mistake. And you can even add that you’re having trouble getting posters to heed your superior wisdom: that Mexican citizens should not be referred to as Mexicans.

Maybe the Fourth can include a bolt of lightning. We shall see.

‘News that he had renounced his citizenship was first reported by the Dallas Morning News. The newspaper also broke that Cruz had dual Canadian-U.S. citizenship when he released his birth certificate in August.

Misinformation alert.

Cruz didn't need to "renounce" his Canadian citizenship as he had never claimed it upon reaching his majority.

The only reason for going through the charade was because people like yourself don't understand the subtleties of citizenship law.

Why would I do that? I'm not offended.

Haha, Cruz own spokesperson said it made sense for Cruz to be a citizen of only one country [sorry you’re struggling so mightily with the concept of dual-citizenship ; Cruz ADMITS he had Canadian citizenship too]:

‘Spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said the Tea Party favorite formally gave up his citizenship May 14. He received official confirmation of the action at his Houston home Tuesday.’

snip

So personal insults are worse...

I don't know about you, but if somebody questions my integrity or demeans my family or spreads sordid rumors about me, it tends to diminish my opinion of the party.

Both you and Cruz are fundamentally mistaken re how Canadian citizenship is acquired:

‘Canada, like the United States, also gives automatic citizenship to anyone born on its soil.

Even though law works the same way in both countries, Cruz has said the news that he possessed dual citizenship came as a surprise to both him and his parents earlier this year.’

Btw, all your gratuitous insults notwithstanding, I have actually read Canada’s Birthright Citizenship Act. There is nothing—zero, squat, the donut—about any person having to take any kind of action whatsoever when they ‘reach their majority.’ Nothing. That is a total and complete Cruz family myth/fabrication. Cruz became a NBC of Canada by virtue of being born there, period.

Then, you should read American citizenship law.

My response was totally predicated on American citizenship law -- which is the relevant issue. Canada may well have listed Cruz as a citizen -- but Cruz was an American citizen and American citizenship law doesn't recognize other citizenship laws.

Funny, Ted Cruz and all his minions did all those things to Trump and Trump was willing to forgive Ted. Can Cruz not give up his grudges and petty hatreds?
