Then, you should read American citizenship law.
My response was totally predicated on American citizenship law -- which is the relevant issue. Canada may well have listed Cruz as a citizen -- but Cruz was an American citizen and American citizenship law doesn't recognize other citizenship laws.
There is nothing in American citizenship law about Cruz needing to do anything when he reached a certain age re his citizenship. As I said, that part was a Cruz family fabrication—and you fell for it.
Here’s a tip: the Cruzes lie. Here’s a fact: only diehard Cruzers have yet to figure out that Cruzes lie.
Btw, you’re as bad as Cruz when it comes to honesty. You posted that Canadian law required Ted to take action when he reached his “majority.” Nor could you resist gratuitously insulting me as not understanding Canadian citizenship law.
When I revealed that I have actually read the Canadian Birthright Citizenship Act (according to which, Ted and his mother are not merely wrong but weirdly, bizarrely wrong), you lied, and said you’d been talking about American citizenship law. (In fact, an honorable person would have apologized. But have no fear—I expect no honor from Cruz or from his most hardcore followers.)
All I can say is, no wonder you support Cruz: birds of a feather.
