According to sources that are familiar with the FBIs investigation into Hillary Clintons use of a private email server, the former Secretary of State is not expected to face charges in the probe.
This, according to CNNs Senior Producer Edward Mejia Davis, who took to Twitter shortly ago to indicate the likely announcement of no charges:
During an unexpected interview hit on MSNBC this evening with Chuck Todd, Clinton herself was asked about the reports that she would not face charges. As we were talking, there are news reporters that indicate no charges may be brought against you and a final decision in a couple weeks, said Todd in the waning seconds of the hit.
Chuck I am not going to comment on the process. I have no knowledge of any timeline. This is entirely up to the Department, said Clinton, who voluntarily sat with the FBI this morning for 3.5 hours as part of their final stage of the investigation into the possible violation of the law and the handling of classified material.

So how can the FBI say there was no crime or malfeasance committed?
The FBI can say anything they like.
The big problem here is that to try to take Hillary down for e mail abuse will take down 3/4 of Washing down as collateral damage, starting with President Obama himself.
They all corresponded with her on her illegal email system and probably using their own covert, non governmental accounts.
Pretty much the entire Obama Administration was secret email accounts to coordinate and collude in their schemes while avoiding public scrutiny and accountability to the American people.
Same thing with IRS and Lois Lerner.
Nothing will ever come of he stunning abuses of power because she was acting on behalf of Mitch McConnell and other Republicans worried about being ousted by Tea Party insurgents as much was she was with Democrats
As we have seen in the last few months, Washington is corrupt to the core and our elected officials are enriching themselves while screwing the country
Let me be the first; "It ain't so".
The best thing to happened is for her NOT to be indicted now.
It will happen under President Trump, which is out best chance to have true justice in the Case of Hillary Clinton.
30 pieces of silver
Well, I'm convinced that what she did was stupid and that she put the nation's security at risk. However, I am not an expert regarding criminal statutes in the area of government communications and the only time that I tried to read one of the statutes that someone mentioned, it all looked a bit iffy to me. It had something to do with removing materials from their proper place. In her case, I think the problem is more like she failed to put the materials in the proper place to begin with - government servers. I'm not sure that she actually removed anything from its proper place. Anyway, that's as far as I got and what she did might in fact be more dangerous than what the statute makes illegal.
I always had doubts that there would be an indictment of a major candidate for president during an election year in any event. So, I can't say that I am surprised, but we'll just have to wait and see what the FBI says and does.
“I’m not sure that she actually removed anything from its proper place.”
You are overthinking it. The statutes are in fact VERY clear.
How can Comey justify so massive an investigation for no crime having been committed? One would think that identifying the crime/malfeasance would be the first thing the FBI would do. Who do these clowns have to apologize to now?
i agree. I so far still believe comey is a decent man.
And if Donald Trump receives 330 million votes in November, somehow Grillary would still win the Election!
Those who are saying something do not know... and those who know are not saying.
See? I’ve been saying this for years. Nothing will happen to her.
Obama made that clear when he endorsed her for president.
Well, I have a lot of respect for the FBI. We'll see what they say. Maybe they're overthinking it, too. I don't know the ins and outs of these particular statutes, but I do know that there are a lot of very stupid things that people can do that aren't covered by a criminal statute - yet.

The Supreme Court just reversed the conviction of former Governor McDonnell of Virginia. After all of the investigation and trial, it was determined that his conduct (admittedly stupid) wasn’t actually criminal. How could that happen? Well, things like that do happen.
This is a comment from The American Thinker site regarding Putin releasing the emails:
“I am increasingly under the impression that Putin regards America as completely insane under Obama and, by extension, the Clintons. Putin is a man who likes order. Power, control, yes. Ruthless, yes. But ordered.
I reckon Putin sees Hillary as someone who can be bought - yes. But also someone unstable who will wreck the Middle East further and push Russia into another Cold War with Russia pushing Christianity and virtue and the West Communism and tyranny!
Putin plays his cards close to his chest so it’s hard to be sure but something in me feels that Putin would rather engage with someone rational. A businessman he can deal with,
Hillary is all but totally insane and, while she can be bought easily, she could/would destablise the world further. I mean, Putin is playing chess, Obama is knocking over the pieces, Hillary would be attaching fireworks to the pieces and sending them up int the sky to explode while cackling.
I think Putin thinks the West is going insane and he kinda wants someone vaguely with it in the West somewhere to talk to.”
I doubt the dems will regret any of this. It is like that restaurant scene near the opening of the Jurassic Park movie. The dems know that "no one cares" ... except us.
Yup.
