Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton met with FBI officials Saturday about her private email server that has sparked a federal investigation, her campaign said.
"Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary," Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in an email Saturday afternoon. "She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview."
Sources confirm to CBS News that the investigation is in its final phase and interviewing Clinton was one of the last steps before concluding the investigation and submitting recommendations on whether charges should be filed.
The meeting, which lasted approximately three-and-a-half hours, took place at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., according to a campaign aide.

Ita voluntary interview. This was not a criminal trial. A lot of this is just routine, they already have enough evidence to recommend prosecution, or they would not have interviewed her. The FBI realizes she will be saying “I don’t know”, “I don’t recall”, “I’m not sure” to many of their questions, but they have evidence to to answer those questions already. Clinton does not know whether they have been able to recover the deleted emails or not. She does not know what Pagliano has already told the FBI. She is smart to not recall anything they ask her. Saying she does not remember is not lying to the FBI. Her attorney thoroughly briefed her on that aspect. 3 1/2 hours of “I don’t recall” represents a lot of questions that the FBI already knows the answers to. Like I said they already have enough evidence to prosecute her. Why do you think Bill tried to influence Lynch. He realizes they trouble she is in.
Whatever. Lynch probably gave Bill a thumbdrive with all of the lies the others told so that she can keep the stories straight.

Lynch doesn’t have to—the same lawyers there today with Clinton represent all of the others interviewed, with the possible exception of Pagliano.

A source close to investigation claims that, originally, the questioning of Clinton was to last less than an hour but after the first question she started coughing so badly that they had to have a doctor brought in.
The doctor had to remove a strange type of hair ball from her throat, after that they proceeded to ask her another question but suddenly she started barking like a dog and had to bring in a veterinarian.
Further results are unknown at this time.
Oh well, would have been sweet.
Still, doesn’t seem she’d be happy having to go at all.
And at this point, what is there to ask her - they have the evidence.
Ask her so she’ll lie so they can get her for that, too.

They looked hard for a lie to feds to get Scooter Libby for a “crime” he didn’t commit. Wonder if they will work that hard on Clinton’s interview.

The FBI is not trying to railroad her, this was worked out by both parties and I’m sure Clinton told the FBI that this was the only day she had available.
The interview of Hillary is not that important to the FBI, they have already made a decision on prosecution, or the investigation would not have gone on this long. The FBI knows the implication of her being the Democrat nominee, so if there was no clear cut evidence for prosecution they would not have carried the investiagion this far.
They will recommend proseucion.
I know it will never happen, but my fantasy is to see her in the back of a white Bronco heading for the nearest sanctuary city. Pocahontas is playing the role of Al Cowans driving the SUV at 12 mph on the Beltway.

I’ve always liked that little movie. I remember it from when I was a kid and I just seen it again a couple times on TCM.
Actually the reverse is true. That a caravan of FBI agents would show up at her house early on a Saturday morning - on a holiday weekend - is rather damning. Otherwise, why ruin a holiday weekend?
Also, in this age of social media and 24/7 news, the "burying" of stories over a weekend is no longer an effective tactic. I spent this morning at a state park hiking by some waterfalls. Almost everybody had their faces buried in their cellphones. (I plead guilty to that as well but I did take some nice pictures).
