Green Energy Policies May Haunt Democrats this Fall

The raw deal that American taxpayers are getting is nothing short of scandalous. “Green energy remains an inconsequential source of energy in America despite more than $80 billion in direct federal taxpayer subsidies under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama,” write authors Stephen Moore and Kathleen Hartnett White in their new book Fueling Freedom: Exposing the Mad War on Energy. “Wind and solar combined produce less than 3 percent of our energy, and only about 5 percent of our electricity.” CARTOONS | Robert Ariail View Cartoon

It gets worse. Democrat policymakers are deliberately targeting fossil fuels by making them less accessible and more expensive to produce. The Obama administration and its allies have killed the Keystone XL pipeline project; slow-walked oil and natural gas drilling permits; closed public lands to drilling; imposed staggeringly expensive new regulations and proposed billions of dollars in new taxes aimed at oil and natural gas producers.

Part of the dnc party platform for the upcoming convention. And they will double down on persecuting evil "deniers" who claim "It's weather. Get over it." Simply presenting the following sometimes makes them glassy eyed:

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.

3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.

4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.

5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.

6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.

7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

No doubt there are simple questions that could be added.

The way my Dutch friend explained it was this.............. When I was growing up in Holland the canals froze in the winter, now they don’t. Global warming in true.

I asked her if they froze when her grandmother was a child and she didn’t know.

Just remember that environmentalists hate wind farms and solar farms just as much as they hate any coal-fired power plant. I have had some peripheral involvement in solar farms.

They are phonies. The rank-and-file enviros are cranks, and the leaders are shake-down artists. Its one of the biggest scams out there.

Doubtful. Most of the bad ideas on how to govern the world are progressive and that hasn’t tarnished their support from the useful idiots yet. I doubt this little nothing burger will. $80 billion, Psshah.

$150 Billion in subsidies for Green energy and only 3% of our energy. Global Warmists should be investigated under RICO. It is a money grubbing racket.

America could be the world leader in fossil fuel based energy. We lost the auto industry, we lost electronics, we lost steel and we will soon lose the technology industry to S Korea and China.

Energy production could be our saving grace.

8. Explain what will happen to the biomass when plans to decrease the atmospheric concentration of CO2 are implemented.

The biomass is to CO2 what water is to humidity. The only way you can get rid of the humidity is by getting rid of the water.

My Grandad and Dad used to cut ice out of the Hudson River for their ice business in Athens Ny. back in the '30's. Does it freeze like that now? Probably too "hot" now. Besides we gots 'frigerators now. 😊

I'm surprised that it's that high.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Yeah, it's the perfect storm, the "researchers" get the money and Democrats get control over people's lives.

Did she ignore (or simply forget) the 2012 freeze?
