MERKEL'S WORST NIGHTMARE: Germany calls for Referendum as 'people want to be free of EU'

BELEAGUERED Angela Merkel is facing calls for a referendum to free German people of "EU slavery" in the wake of Britain's sensational decision to cut ties with Brussels.

Far right figures in Alternative for Germany have promised to call their own vote if they clutch power in country's general election in autumn next year.

A party spokesman branded Brussels a "bureaucracy monster", before adding: "Next year the AfD will enter the German parliament and Dexit will be top on our agenda".

They called the vote a Dexit as it stands for a Deutschland exit from the EU.

Eurosceptism has swept across the continent after the people of Britain backed Brexit in the historic EU referendum on June 23.

there will end up being some sort of union of the various European States and it will include the UK.

What it will be, in form or substance we do not know. It will not be what exists today. There might still be a € Euro. the rules for crossing borders for bonafide Euro citizens and commerce will remain in some fashion, but different. The demise of NATO will necessitate a standing military of some sort to defend and to when necessary aggres.

The American Articles of Confederation were a failed attempt at amalgamation. the current system should be viewed not a an end but a reason for serious adjustment

More catchy than "Germexit".

If Germany leaves, a lot of ECB banks are going to be worthless. Who will support the Euro? Italy? Greece?

But, I don’t think Germany will leave. More likely, an anti-immigrant party will gain the upper hand and slam the immigration door.

The Greeks may have to get used to working for a living.

Or brush up on their "Po Rooski"

To the European press “far right” simply means that you support national borders.

"Far Right" is a smear used to silence dissent, and to disguise the fact that the ruling establishment in Europe (as in the US) has drifted to the internationalist Far Left when it comes to the National Question.

What we're seeing in Britain, Germany, France, and some of the other European countries is how rational people respond to a problem. They methodically, and peacefully try to extricate themselves from it.

What they do not seem to realize yet is that the people that are causing the problem don't care about reasonable or rational solutions.

The Muslim invasion of Europe, particularly western Europe has fundamentally altered those nations in ways they don't yet fully understand. The prevailing view is that they can coexist peacefully with the Muslims, and that in time, they will become more westernized. But what is really going on is that they are biding their time. It's as if they have invited in a Trojan horse, even with the knowledge that it is filled with potential enemy soldiers.

“Far right” in Europe is Mitt Romney.

The European "Far Right" is more like Trump: relatively moderate on social issues and even on cutting back the welfare state, but committed to national sovereignty and limiting immigration of unassimilable Third World People. On the National Question, they're the opposite of Mitt Romney and the GOP establishment.

Isn’t it strange that people like Merkel and the Clintons can get a strangle hold on power and no one makes a move to stop them?

It is like three outfielders running to catch a fly ball. They all gather up, look at each other, and thinking that someone will step forward and make the easy catch, no one steps up and the ball hits the ground.

At least when it’s Spain’s turn that should Sexit up a little. Otherwise, all that’s to do is FRexit.

Britain’s exit from the EU will expose Germany’s ambition to use the EU to dominate Europe politically and economically in a way it could not achieve through two world wars.

The workers get to support worthless layer of pols AND lazy welfare Islamic Muslims who consider it a slave tax.

That is how Democrats destroy democracy.

Britain pulled the cornerstone of the edifice out. How long before the tower crumbles?

The writing is on the wall, the EU is finished.

One of the most powerful governing mechanisms that exists in a Parliamentary System is the ‘Vote of No Confidence’. It would have spared us a full 16 years of Bush the Buffoon and our current Schmuck-in-Chief.
After the referendum in Germany; Merkel will be voted out, in the Bundestag! No tears for this jackass.

No, the EU was designed to be similar to the USSR. Just as all the “progressives” worked and work to remake the USA to be like the USSR, the EU founders made it like the USSR from its very beginning.

The cornerstone is Germany, and Britain did not pull that out. Nor will the elites allow the German people to pull it out.

The elites know exactly what form they want it to take. They planned the “two-speed/multi-speed Europe” decades ago, because they knew the first form would create a crisis. And any military that comes out of this already has plans for conflicts of aggression.
