Governor Palin released the news herself with a post on Facebook:
Loading up on protein in NYC - ready to take Alec Baldwin's Match Game on ABC
challenge tomorrow!

ABC is about to get a boatload of press for their new Sunday evening game show block. Just confirmed: the former governor of Alaska and former vice president candidate Sarah Palin is on her way to be a panelist on Match Game. (Buzzerblog)
Hosted by Alec Baldwin, this is the third incarnation of the popular game show. The show originally debuted in 1962 and ran for eight seasons. The show was reborn in 1973, again hosted by Gene Rayburn, this time retitled as ‘Match Game 73′ and ran for an additional nine years.
ABC resurrected the format once again this summer, with the debut episode airing last Sunday. The celebrity panelists in the premiere were Debra Messing, J.B. Smoove, Michael Ian Black, Rosie O’Donnell, Sutton Foster and Tituss Burgess.
Whether longtime Palin "critic" Rosie O’Donnell is a ‘Match Game’ regular, and will appear on-air with Sarah is unknown at this time, but if the two share the panel together, it may provide for some "interesting" television.
While the news shared by the Governor indicates that she will will be in-studio to tape today, no word as of yet when the episode will broadcast.
Stay tuned!

I saw the show and enjoyed it.... Until the question ripping Trump, where everyone laughed and laughed over how stupid and wrong Trump is. Laughed and laughed and laughed, the contestants, the host, and the panel. Especially of course Rosie O’Donnell.
“Sarah Palin Set To Appear On ABCs Match Game
...a big mistake...
They’re your 15 minutes, Sarah. Spend them wisely!
[ Especially of course Rosie ODonnell]
Rosie O’Donnell is a fat pig...
How long has Alec (the grouch) Baldwin been hosting the Match Game? That’s almost as surprising as finding out The Palins will be appearing on it. I, I don’t know what to say, except, I hope they have a good time. Sarah deserves a receptive audience. I thought she was shopping the idea of hosting her own show for a while. I guess there weren’t enough high dollar takers to sign on as advertisers. Or, the Dems threatened whoever wanted to even consider it.
Doesn’t work as well anymore, but I miss the days where I could hijack virtually any DU or other leftist thread on virtually any topic simply by mentioning Sarah Palins name. the comments instantly went into hysterics about how stupid she was and how irrelevant she was and that would be it. It was like watching monkeys suddenly go bazonkazoids flinging poo at each other. I bet by now threads can be hijacked on any subject just by dropping Trumps name
“The reason why a center-right nation like the United States could veer, over the last forty years, to the left, is because of the lefts fundamental understanding of the importance of the cultural role in our society and how pop culture and culture are upstream from politics.

Just a couple of weeks or so. They have a summer block of revived classic game shows like this and To Tell the Truth.
Palin is supposed to speak at the same Colorado event as Trump Friday.
Alec Baldwin has been reduced to a game show host?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Karma is awesome.
I’m sure the libs will be fair to her. s/
She must really want attention.
Uh, what’s The Match Game?
“Rosie ODonnell is a fat pig.”
She is a suppurating pilonidal cyst!
They’ve brought back “To Tell the Truth” and are planning a new “Pyramid” (ie., $20,000 Pyramid) game show. I also read today that Netflix is planning a new “Lost in Space” series. What’s old is new these days.
An ad for the show popped up on my Roku. I had the exact same thought, followed by "There's no way this is going to be as funny as the original, with the likes of Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly all coked-up or drunk on the set."
Hmm. Now that I think about it, Alec would've fit in with those original panelists just fine. Maybe that's what made someone consider him for the host job.
Excellent post.
