WASHINGTON — The Pentagon is poised to announce new rules allowing transgender individuals to serve openly in the U.S. military, amid concerns from senior military leaders who believe the department is moving too fast and has yet to resolve many details, U.S. officials told The Associated Press.
Defense Secretary Ash Carter is expected to announce the new policy this week, nearly a year after announcing his intention to make the change. The move would end one of the last bans on service in the military.
Several senior U.S. officials, however, said that while the chiefs of the military services largely back the change, they sought more time to fully develop and implement the complex new rules.
According to officials, the service chiefs asked Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to relay their concerns to Carter. A senior U.S. official told the AP that Carter met this week with his military leaders, heard their concerns, and has adjusted the timeline.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss policy decisions before they were made public.
Under the new policy, transgender individuals will be allowed to enlist in the military, and those already serving can no longer be forced to leave based on their gender identity.
Officials familiar with the new plan said people with gender dysphoria, a history of medical treatments associated with gender transition and those who have had reconstruction surgery may be disqualified as military recruits unless a medical provider certifies that they have been clinically stable in the preferred gender for 18 months, and are free of significant distress or impairment in social, occupational or other important areas. Ass Carter, a nobody appointed as Secretary of Defense, just concluded a disjointed speech stating that the transgendered perverts are to be allowed to openly flaunt their perversity and that all consideration is to be given to them in respect to recruitment.
He added that there will have to be several millions of our worthless dollars expended to have specialized medical personnel available to cope with these degenerates.

Please explain how a man who concerns himself with hair, makeup, and expressing his “feminity” can be an effective warrior.
Feeding massive doses of estrogen to mentally ill men, or massive doses of testosterone to women, will virtually guarantee catastrophes that no one in the chain of command should even be required to contemplate, much less mop up after.

We need people like this on the front lines to serve as cannon fodder. Persons this deranged are likely to wander out in front of our lines and draw enemy fire.
