President Obama went off on his own rant Wednesday at a trilateral press conference in which he disputed the idea that Donald Trump is a populist and that the presumptive GOP nominee instead promotes "nativism" or "xenophobia."
After reporters asked a series of questions of Mr. Obama, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mr. Obama decided he had something else to say in Ottawa -- he addressed the common theme of populism raised during the event.
"I'm not prepared to concede the notion that some of the rhetoric that's been popping up is populist," Mr. Obama said, referring to Trump.

That’s what I’ve been thinking too. They gin up the polls showing Hillary winning everywhere, then they pull the rug out from under her and switch for Biden or another. Then they can say we were following the law and indicted her even though she was going to win. Then it won’t look to the libs like the white house engineered her fall. When all along Barky knew she didn’t have any chance in the general.
That’ll be his last press conference. The question will be “Do you have any words for President-Elect Trump?”

Against the continuing backdrop of equating Trump with Hitler and Naziism, including open calls for Trump’s assassination (Beck, Colbert, et al), it is worthwhile to note the assassination attempt on Hitler (Operation Valkyrie) occurred the same day as the 2016 RNC.
That’s a bad omen.

You’re right. They are heavy into dates/symbolism. Good thinking connecting that.
May the halls of the White House and Congress be filled with whispers of the Founders about the Americanism of Trump. May the blood of our forebears stain the bottoms of all those who work there. And may tongues raised against Americanism from those halls now be confused and confounded.
I call upon the ghosts all those patriots who have gone before us to bring the rain on the traitors there now.
