Ending one of the longest, costliest and most bitterly partisan congressional investigations in history, the House Select Committee on Benghazi issued its final report on Tuesday, finding no new evidence of culpability or wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton in the 2012 attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead.
The 800-page report, however, included some new details about the night of the attacks, and the context in which it occurred, and it delivered a broad rebuke of government agencies like the Defense Department, the Central Intelligence Agency and the State Department - and the officials who led them - for failing to grasp the acute security risks in the Libyan city, and especially for maintaining outposts in Benghazi that they could not protect.
The committee, led by Representative Trey Gowdy, Republican of South Carolina, also harshly criticized an internal State Department investigation that it said had allowed officials like Mrs. Clinton, then the secretary of state, to effectively choose who would investigate their actions. In addition, it reiterated Republicans’ complaints that the Obama administration had sought to thwart the investigation by withholding witnesses and evidence.
The report, however, did not dispute that United States military forces stationed in Europe could not have reached Benghazi in time to rescue the personnel who died - a central finding of previous inquiries.

"No New Evidence"
The report actually corroborated the administration's attempt to blame the attack on a "video". When Rice went on the Sunday talk shows and did so, various people at the Dept. of State (who knew otherwise) were stunned. But instead of correcting the record, they fell in line behind her.
The Slimes also complained about how long the report took to compile, and how much money it spent, without even mentioning an entire section of the report about the Obama's administrations refusal to assist the investigation was the very reason it took so long. In one case, it was nearly 3 years later before a court decision forced compliance with a subpoena. The recommendations at the end of the report are almost entirely about enforcing Congressional subpoenas, and providing a penalty if found in contempt of Congress.
The Slimes don't want you to know about any of this, and they don't expect you to read the report to contradict them.

The wifey was listening to FOX about this, and watching the GOP press conference. I said, “Why don’t you tune into CNN and see what they’re saying?”
They were saying exactly the same thing that the NY Times is saying... to the word. “No new evidence of wrongdoing by Hillary.”
These people march in lock step and drink from a common pool, most likely in coordination with the WH and the Dem Party.

I don't think even Trump will be able to bring any charges against ANY of the current political elite. I am afraid the ONLY way true justice could be served would be by 'We The People' marching fully armed on Washington. Really think that will happen? I don't.

The Current Occupant gets a pass on “wrongdoing”, because, well, he is black, and therefore may be excused for failure to act, as it may have tarnished his reputation, and besides, he had a fund-raiser to get to the next day, so he was back in the White Hut packing for the trip.
Herself had no such excuse. And plenty of time to act.
Parse that title carefully. The NYT found no NEW evidence of wrongdoing by Herself, but there was plenty of OLD evidence which the NYT had previously discounted, but is still valid.
I agree about Obama.
