Not exactly smooth, thanks. When I left the Office this evening and walked the couple of blocks to my Metro Station (Gallery Place - Chinatown) fire engines and police were everywhere. Apparently there was smoke in the station and everyone was evacuated. I had to walk a few more blocks to the next station. Fortunately I still made it to Union Station in time to catch my train.

Drat! Not exactly a smooth start to your week, was it? I’d hoped you’d gotten lucky for once and things ran smoothly. Always seems to be something cropping up to gum the works.
