Now, Ive backed Cruz, and Im going to continue to back Cruz, but heres what Im going to do. As a result of what the Trump supporters have attempted here, particularly Roger Stone, I am not voting for Donald Trump. Period. And if anybody has a problem with that, Donald Trump, you can talk to Roger Stone. These bully, dirty tricks, Nixonian tactics, theyre only going to backfire. Theyre only going to backfire. So, count me as never Trump. Theres been too much of this folks, way too much of this. The crap in the National Enquirer against Ted Cruz, the attacks on Michelle Fields, I mean, I can go right through the list, too much, too much, too much. At some point, youve got to stand up to it.
And if they piss me off one more time, Im going to urge millions and millions of you, should he get the nomination, not to vote for him either. And "Ooh, Roger Stone has nothing to do with the campaign. Oh yes he does.
April 8, 2016: Levin: I Am Not Voting for Donald Trump, Count Me As Never Trump
I heard his rant back in April—it was on YouTube or Breitbart. Just horrible....He really showed his true colors i.e., he is a very bitter, petty, vindictive small-minded old man. Since Trump received a record number of votes in primary, I think Levin overrates his influence to sway the vote.
He would rather the country be ruled by a should-be convicted felon who will have opportunity to appoint 2-4 Supreme Court Justices. He of all people should be working day and night to prevent this, yet he spends much of his off-air time researching things about which to attack Trump and at least a third of his on-air time launching attacks against Trump.
Funny that Levin accuses Stone of being a sleazeball, considering some of the Cruz antics (possibly some illegal) to sway voters in Iowa. It seemed to start with the mailings accusing residents of not voting and went downhill from there.
Then, Cruz denied any knowledge of what his campaign people were doing.
Yeah, right.
That was when Cruz lost me. I was sort of ‘iffy’ before, because there was just something about Cruz that didn’t ring true. In Iowa, he exposed himself.
