President Barack Obama announced Friday he was designating the area around the Stonewall Inn in New York City as the country's first national monument to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights.
"This week I'm designating the Stonewall National Monument as the newest addition to America's national park system," Obama said in a video released by the White House on Friday.
"I believe our national parks should reflect the full story of our country -- the richness and diversity and uniquely American spirit that has always defined us, that we are stronger than ever. That out of many, we are one," Obama said.

I was musing the other day to a “gay fellow.” What if the same degree of defiance that they showed at Stonewall, was shown to the jihadist in Orlando? We would have seen, oh, such a different story.
I sympathize with them as people, though disagreeing with their choice of how they act on their feelings. They have losses and sorrows the same as everybody else. But the devil has fed them a line that intimidation is the only power that counts. Which is why, basically, acts of bullying are such a thrill to them. I cry with sadness to think about people under such a dreadful illusion. And I become angry again at the devil for doing it.
Wow-—celebrating the dysfunctional, evil, dysfunctional, learned lifestyles of abused and neglected children and the ethics/religions of satanism and Ba’al Rites and islam. Hmmmm,,,,, promotion of irrational, evil “religions” as they mock Reason, Logic and Natural Law and God’s Law (US Constitution).
Why would we in a true “Justice” (Virtue) System celebrate the disgusting use of other human beings, and parade the dysfunction to our children, which always treat people in evil irrational ways— as objects of lust only.
Pure promotion of satanism and Ba’al Rites (sodomy/baby-killing).
