Waiting on results from Hartlepool - Labour stronghold should go for remain but if its anything like NUT, it could be a long night...
Rumours are Wales might save us.
Go Gareth Bale. :)
It would be very difficult to initiate democrat Shenanigans in the UK voting system. The voting papers are numbered. The whole thing is under the control of the Electoral Reform Society, the ‘Tweed Army’. They will stand no nonsense.
Each person is recorded in a book as they come through the door, the two numbers are checked for tally.
So hopefully.....
Hold the phone. The British pound went from$1.50 to 1.44 in a couple of minutes. This was about twenty minutes ago. Something to do with the very large turnout in Sunderland. This is still up for grabs.
The flags in question are not being flown as flags. That would be fine. They are being used as decoration because of Euro 2016 football tournament. Because they are decorations, they all under the rules for displays at polling places.
If EU flags were being displayed as decorations at a polling place, they’d be removed as well - and some people would have done it.
And in case people may not know....NUT = Newcastle Upon Tyne
BBC just said that Hartlepool.which was expected to vote leave,is now expected to vote *strongly* “leave”...much more strongly than expected.
Yes!
Hartlepool down the coast will tell us just how much momentum the remain side has.
Sunderland put up those big numbers earlier.
Bradley effect in action you think?
Understand I am a very strong supporter of the St George’s flag as a symbol of England and think it should be flown more widely than it is, and object to those who want to paint it as somehow racist.
But it very important that the rules concerning neutrality are followed in elections, because if they are not, the left will take much greater advantage of that than anybody else.
I’m watching the live feed on the BBC website and it sounds like they are very depressed, saying that leave is doing much better than anticipated and remain much worse.
Rumours are that poor welsh have voted out....
Labour strongholds appear to be going Brexit!
That would be a late breaking dark horse. Dailymail’s map yesterday showed Wales leaning stay, but....
Cameron looks like he’s going down... he campaigned to remain.
“
Latest results, according to the BBC:North Warwickshire “Leave” vote much stronger than expected.
In the London borough of Lewisham, 83 per cent have voted to stay.
Leave has strong support in Hartlepool.
In Foyle, Northern Ireland Remain has 78 percent of the vote.

Could be part of it - something similar gets called the ‘Shy Tory’ effect in Britain - people being less likely to tell pollsters they are voting conservative.
Here’s wishing you much luck and Godspeed.
