National Public Radio political correspondent Mara Liasson praised Donald Trumps speech on Wednesday for its effective attacks on Hillary Clinton, calling it the speech Republicans have been waiting 20 years to hear. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee delivered a 41-minute address from his skyscraper in New York, attacking his Democratic rival for corrupt deals while at the State Department, and responding to her own sharp attack on his economic policies the day before. Liasson writes that while the Clinton campaign was already disputing the particulars of Trumps argument, he had made the case against Clinton in a way Republicans have

One of the reasons I change from supporting Cruz to supporting Trump last January was knowing Trump would go after her like this.
No other GOP candidate would have or could have made this speech and survived the media criticism. He will double and triple down on these points, and the media will have to report them. He's spoken the truth about her, unvarnished, clear, and it will resound.
Reagan also is a ‘modern times’ president in my time frame too.
I haven't been a Trumper, in fact I've seriously been thinking of #NeverTrumping.
But I will say this: The above statement, that no other Republican would give a speech like this, is sadly correct. And that is not a minor thing. But I still feel like I'm having to choose between two very bad and corrupt candidates. He's a fantastic entertainer, though.

Listen to the speech whydoncha?
Except maybe for Ted Cruz. It may come as a shock to you but Ted lost, get over it, we either have President Trump or president Hillary(or some other Marxist Clone) pick one.
Did you notice that he said you could take the money used to import all the illegals and it would be enough to repair every inner city. It won't happen but pointing out that democrats think more about providing for illegals than they do the failed intercity minority communities made up of real citizens.
Smash the hell out of Hillary...! GO TRUMP!
That brings up an interesting question, has LM ever questioned Cruz?
“It’s called freedom Donald. If we were not regulating and taxing them to death they’d be coming here, not leaving.”
Don’t forget that the large corporations are often to blame for goverment’s over regulation and over taxation of business. It seems counter intuitive at first - why would businesses want to add to their own tax and regulatory burden?
The answer is that due to their size, the cost of compliance is negligible as a percent of their revenue, where the smaller businesses they compete with are crushed by the same burden. They can afford teams of lawyers, accountants and lobbyists to minimize or avoid compliance, and they can afford the option of relocating to escape the taxation or regulation altogether.
One of the most common ways large corporations use the government to knock out their competition is through regulatory and tax ‘reform’, the ostensible justification for which is usually product safety, environmental safety or anti discrimination. The real reason is that the largest corporations can afford for example wheelchair access throughout their facilities, whereas the competition would be wiped out by such a requirement. The big corporations know this and lobby for excessive regulations and fees on purpose. It happens all the time.
Trump is right, everything is rigged and the biggest corporations are the ones doing it - they use the government strategically to enforce monopolies this way.
You can be against the big corporate lobbyists and still be a true free market conservative. It took me a while to figure it out, but once you see it it’s pretty obvious what’s going on.
Of course the latest scam is global warming. This clever ploy was created by Turd world nations trying to get their hands in our pockets with a big chunk getting kicked back to the rotten politicians pushing this rip off. I absolutely agree much of big business is in on the rigged game, but the solution is not tariffs. They are just taxes with the ploy of irrational nationalism thrown in.
What is the solution to the rigged game? It so happens I wrote up the answer right here.
I agree with that. I used to love listening to mark Levin. I hope one day he will again become listenable.
