Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is meeting with a group of more than 1,000 faith leaders in New York City. The evangelical leaders gathered during the United in Purpose and My Faith Votes summit, titled: “A Conversation About America’s Future with Donald Trump and Ben Carson.”

We visited family, near Phoenix, one summer. All activities were either before 10 a.m. or at sundown.

We were in the DFW area, this weekend...and fought for any scrap of shade, where we could park.

I have a funny feeling that Huckabee might be Trump’s VP. He has really shut up the last few months and the the two together would be a Populist dream. That said I still hope for Allen West.

The temps in DFW have been relatively mild this year. Last week was the first week we’ve definitely needed the A/C. Life without concrete does have its advantages. All is cooler and tolerable when one can walk into a cool house. Our rainfall has been up this year as well. Hope you folks enjoyed the area here. We Texans really like this part of the state :)
