Campaign finance “reform”, thanks McCain, are pure gobbledygook. You can’t navigate them without a full-time attorney monitoring everything you do, and in the end the good guys get nailed and the bad guys do what they want.

All they do is empower guys like Soros.

You can thank George W Bush. He said as he was signing the bill that he thought parts of it were unconstitutional but he had faith the SCOTUS would scale that back. Outrageous!

Well he signed a bill he admitted was unconstitutional on the gamble that SCOTUS would fix it and he was wrong. Heck, at least McCain said he thought it was a good idea.

Well, the Clintons are certainly the experts in knowing how to break laws and get away. All the way from spitting on the sidewalk to murder.

Ask Team Clinton about the flow of tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation ( the formal name is the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, originally called the William J. Clinton Foundation) from foreign governments, corporations, and financiers and you typically get an interesting explanation: it’s a sign of love. “As president, he was beloved around the world, so it should come as not surprise that there has been an outpouring of financial support from around the world to sustain his post-presidential work”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/14/AR2007121402124.html

Ask Bill about the tens of millions of dollars as he has made in speaking fees around the world, paid for by the same cast of characters, and you will get an equally charitable explanation: It’s evidence of his desire to help people. By giving these highly paid speeches, Clinton says, “ I try to help people think about what’s going on and organize their lives accordingly.”

This arguable criminality may actually be useful...

As a template around which real effective laws can be established.

No one, but no one can out criminal Hillary, Monica's boyfriend, and their army of flying monkeys.

This is in one of the files just downloaded, it is also in the Clinton Cash book:

Friends and Allies Talking Points
Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (CGEP)

• Let’s be clear about the facts here: The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (CGEP) is a Foundation initiative focused on alleviating global poverty. That initiative receives funding from a separate Canadian charity called CGEP (Canada), which Frank Guistra created to give Canadians the opportunity to support the initiative’s work and get a charitable tax credit.

• CGEP (Canada) is in no way a general operating fund for the Foundation — it’s a distinct entity that provides funding on a project-by-project basis to the poverty-fighting Foundation initiative. Like other independent organizations that give to the Clinton Foundation, in keeping with the organization’s voluntary transparency efforts, this Canadian charity is listed as a donor on the websites.

• Simply put, the Canadian charity’s individual donors aren’t listed on the Clinton Foundation website because it operates separately from the Clinton Foundation. In light of Canadian privacy laws, CGEP (Canada) does not publicly name its donors without prior permission from those individuals.

• This is hardly an effort on the Foundation’s part to avoid transparency. In fact, the main donor noted in the Post article as contributing to CGEP (Canada) — Canadian businessman Ian Telfer — was also disclosed as a Foundation donor. So the fact of his status as a Foundation contributor was not at all a secret.

• In recent days, the Foundation has shown that its commitment to transparency is stronger than ever. Since Secretary Clinton decided to run for President, the Foundation committed to disclosing all of our donors on a quarterly basis. And the Foundation recently opted to undergo a voluntary external review, promising to refile some of its recent 990 forms as necessary.

• The Clintons are rightly proud of the Foundation, which is a global philanthropy, and will not let misguided attacks in the course of this campaign distort its critical, life-saving wor

One of the things that was truly "Bush's Fault".

However, I remember it chipping away at free speech so that it was nicknamed "The Incumbent Protection Act". That is, it protects incumbents by prohibiting people from reminding and pointing out the aforementioned's legislative record within some number of weeks of the election.

OK, you can shoot me for defending Hillary.
Skirting the law is not the same as breaking the law.
Hillary and her staff seem to have broken multiple (probably dozens of) laws over the last few decades, but on the surface this does not appear to be one of those times.
