Anti-Trump protester Michael Sandford was arrested Saturday at Donald Trumps Las Vegas rally at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.
Sandford tried to grab a cops gun.....
A federal officer says a man arrested at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas told authorities he tried to grab an officers gun so he could kill the candidate.
A complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Nevada charges Michael Steven Sandford with an act of violence on restricted grounds.
It cites a report by Special Agent Swierkowski, whose first name was not included, saying Sandford told officers he drove from California to kill Trump and went to a Las Vegas gun range the day before to learn to shoot.
Sandford later went to a Trump rally at the Treasure Island Casino and approached a Las Vegas police officer to say he wanted an autograph from Trump.
The report says Sandford was arrested after grabbing the handle of an officers gun in an attempt to remove it.

OMG I just LOVED Les Nessman, who would have EVER thought the MSM would turn out to be just like him instead of Les being satire!!!
New Jersey, then Ontario, California. That gets me sometimes, too: the other, smaller Ontario.
Hmmmmm. Could be a ‘professional anarchist’. They travel. Wonder who’s payroll he was on?
drove from California to kill Trump and went to a Las Vegas gun range the day before to learn to shoot.
And people think Americans are nuts about guns?
Guilty. Hang ‘em.
Oops, thank you for that :)
Stolen firearms can easily be bought cheap from criminals in most large urban areas.
Very astute FRiend.
With muzzies overrunning Great Britain and staring at a looooong prison sentence this sanford klown may actually outlive his own country.
I couldn’t find the one of Les with a necktie around his head lip synching `Hotblooded’.
They’re all jokes—Dan Rathers, Ted Baxters. Seekers of Killer Tornados. An assassination attempt and crickets.
Nooooo! Why would my favorite band Foreigner tried to kill Donald Trump? What did Donald ever do to them?
Ping!!!

There are facts that do not make sense.
1. Sanford is British. Why would a foreigner from England decide to kill a United States Republican candidate, Trump, over a year ago?
2. He arrived in the U.S., bought a BMW, and drove from Hoboken, New Jersey, to southern California. Why to southern California? Was there someone or some group there that was supporting him in this endeavor?
3. He tries to steal a firearm away from a police officer. Of all the things in this story, this makes the most sense as one cannot carry a firearm into one of Trump’s rallies.
Europeans and British often don't have any idea how large this country is. He probably thought he'd just pop over to CA for a few days, a nice drive.
Mr. Nutjob dumbass probably thought the officer weapon would pull out like a stick of butter on a hot day...
The teenager told investigators he had been planning the assassination for a year and was convinced he would die in the attempt.
The British national had lived in Hoboken, New Jersey, for around 18 months and had driven to San Bernardino in California before travelling to Las Vegas on Thursday.
The teenager told police he visited the Battlefield Vegas shooting range on Friday where he fired off 20 rounds from a 9mm Glock pistol to learn how to use it.
Sandford also told investigators he had a ticket for a Trump rally in Phoenix, Arizona, for later on Saturday as a back-up.
Amazing how these types come clean when grilled
Never could stand that group.
>>> but I don't think it warrants arrest.<<<
I for one am glad they are finally off the streets.
Never thought they'd try to cheap-stunt wack a politician though. Didn't know they had it in 'em. Should have been arrested a long time ago. And now thanked just a little bitty bit (along with some jail time, nothing too outlandish --18 months to 5 years or so) for having highlighted a potential weak point.
