Now, ESPN has decided to reward MUs football team for its acts. The sports network announced Friday that the 2015 team will be collectively honored at its second annual Sports Humanitarian of the Year awards, which are held in tandem with the ESPY awards. During the July 12 show in Los Angeles, the team will be given the Stuart Scott ENSPIRE award, named in honor of the ESPN anchor who died of cancer last year. The award celebrates someone that has taken risk and used an innovative approach to helping the disadvantaged through the power of sports, ESPN said in a statement.

It is shocking the amount of ignorance out there.
This has to be some kind of a joke?????
Yes , I think ESPN is a joke
Did they forget how to spell inspire or did they intentionally spell it Enspire?
Stuart Scott would roll his eyes at this...He certainly would NOT shout “BOOOYAH!!!!!!
“Stuart Scott would roll his eyes at this...He certainly would NOT shout BOOOYAH!!!!!!”
Yes, he would have. He, like all ESPN employees, drink the Kool-Aid or else get fired.
One more reason not to have cable. No temptation to ever watch ESPN. Even in hotels, I blow right past ESPN.
Plus, I’m not a stick and ball sports fan.
I don’t think so......
Liberal stupidity run amok
Continues the tradition of Mizzou’s gay football player Michal Sam getting an ESPY two years ago.
I too quickly read the headline and thought it said ESPN was giving the Mizzou football team the Humiliation award.
Wish I hadn’t gone back and read it more slowly.
I stopped watching pro sports years ago. Bad enough it’s just a bunch of dopey multi-millionaires playing a game, the opiate of the masses meant to distract from the decline of our broader society, the outright criminality of world cup and olympics gangsters, but now the takeover by social justice warriors is just sickening. Is there any place one can go anymore to get away from this plague?
Remember that ESPN is part of the lefty Disney conglomerate. Now that they’ve alienated everyone from MSM news they’re using sports for their political pulpit.
Google “University of Missouri (MU) football team rape” and you will find out the real reason why Gary Pinkel resigned.
At what point did ESPN morph from a sports network into the SJW network? Why would anyone subscribe to it?
Which is why I don’t watch ESPN. I find Comedy Central mildly more entertaining and humorous.
I wish I watched ESPN so I could tell them I was boycotting them.
I can tell a bunch of liberal frauds when I watch it. No need to watch any further. I'm not missing a thing.
