Big Bone Lick State Park closed amid manhunt for dangerous man

Deputies responded to the park that has 62 campsites on Beaver Road for a report of shots fired just after 10 p.m. Thursday, reads a prepared statement from Major Tom Scheben, sheriff's spokesman.

When they arrived, they found a suspicious vehicle parked near a lake.

State Park Rangers began conducting an immediate search of the area. Upon calling out the subject’s name, three shots from a suspected firearm were fired in the general area.

Three of anything is the symbol for distress. Could it be someone is lost and has a firearm and the shots were a distress signal?

Give them a break, remember it is Kentucky, the home of political prisoners and Mitch McConnell.

Kentucky now holds the record for holding a man in prison for killing his wife, 25 years. A northerner missionary that got on the wrong side of the KKK and local authorities.
