Big Bone Lick State Park closed amid manhunt for dangerous man

Deputies responded to the park that has 62 campsites on Beaver Road for a report of shots fired just after 10 p.m. Thursday, reads a prepared statement from Major Tom Scheben, sheriff's spokesman.
When they arrived, they found a suspicious vehicle parked near a lake.
State Park Rangers began conducting an immediate search of the area. Upon calling out the subject’s name, three shots from a suspected firearm were fired in the general area.

Besides things heating up around 'Big Bone Lick', near the 'Beaver Road' camping area, I have some questions about the report. What was the vehicle doing that made it suspicious? And what are shots from a "suspected" firearm. Did they find and arrest the "suspected" firearm. Were any charges filed against the vehicle?

Lest we forget, there’s a Hooter’s at Exit 69 on I-96 in Michigan. Coincidentally (or not?), that is the Big Beaver Road exit.
