Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Thursday walked back comments that President Obama was "directly responsible" for the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub that left 49 people dead. "I misspoke," McCain said in a statement. "I did not mean to imply that the President was personally responsible. I was referring to President Obama's national security decisions, not the President himself."

That's the only thing that makes sense to me - a test balloon for improving his internal polling. No immediate improvement, so he walked it back. NOTHING is more important to McCain than that Senate seat.
So Trump remains the only major figure with the guys to call Obama out.
And THIS is why Trump won.
Never was a political party more gutless.
I just got this email from McCain’s opponent, Kelli Ward, whom I have donated money to:
Once again, John McCain says one thing, means another, and has refused to take responsibility for his actions.
In the wake of the horrific terrorist attack in Orlando, he asserted that President Obama was directly responsible — then, in the blink of an eye, he backtracked and claimed he did not mean to imply that the president was personally responsible.
The truth is, John McCain is responsible for the rise of ISIS.
His knee-jerk, trigger-happy foreign policy of promiscuously arming supposedly moderate militants has created vacuums which have allowed jihadist ideologies to flourish for years.
We need to make sure Establishment John is called out for his disastrous foreign policy views — add your name and show that we won’t let him backtrack his way out of this one.

Establishment John’s “Invade the World, Invite the World” foreign policy hasn’t only led to blowback in the Middle East — it’s reached US soil.
It’s time to put America First.

Hope she wins - and stays true to her campaign principles.
We hope that she successfully retires McCainal!
He misspoke, because he's mentally unable to campaign, much less conduct affairs in the US Senate.
“He misspoke, because he’s mentally unable to campaign, much less conduct affairs in the US Senate.”
He has been mentally inept since he started at the Naval Academy, as a pilot and as a $inator. He has gotten worse over the decades.
