I am scheduled to appear on the BBC program Have Your Say at noon EDT today to talk about President Barack Obama's visit to Orlando in response to the Islamic terror attack there last Sunday.
I should be part of the discussion for about 15 minutes.

With the murder of the British MP I suppose the segment on Orlando is being scrubbed, but I have not heard back from the BBC scheduler since they booked me an hour ago.
Cockney is east end, London. I lived in Yorkshire for almost a decade. Had to train my ear to the different dialects and slang from different parts.

My American ear prefers the dialect of the Liverputians . . . probably due to my Beatles obsession.

She would respond immediately to communications from her colleagues, and this was impressive. The lady being interviewed sounds genuinely grieved.

How has the US media picked up on this? “Shock.” US has over 13,000 gun violence in America - not as common in England
