President Obama spoke to reporters Monday about the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando and said Omar Mateen had a “Glock which had a lot of clips in it.”
Obama also said Mateen had an “assault rifle.”
According to CNN, the President explained that Mateen acquired his guns via a background check. And he explained that the background check did not stop Manteen “because he did not have a criminal record that in some ways would prohibit him from purchasing” his weapons.

Plante said Obama didn’t know ‘a Glock from a potato.’
So let’s examine this:
He’s supposedly “smartest man in the room” no matter what room he is in, he is adamant that he needs to control every aspect of what self defense options I can have, but he is so out of touch he doesn’t know that everyone makes fun of him every time he says “clips”.
He had clips in it in ALL 47 AMERICAN STATES..!

You mean to tell me you can't set the computer up so that if a guy like this comes up on a background check as suddenly buying multiple firearms and a bunch of ammo, red flags and alarms start going off to give you a heads up that maybe it might be a good idea to keep an eye on this guy for a bit? Huh? Would that be so difficult? And you wouldn't have to deny any firearm purchases to any law abiding, non two time terrorist investigated, citizens.
