Haven’t read the posts so I’m probably only repeating what most have probably already said.
Gordie Howe was a white Anglo legend to hockey fans. Mohamed Ali was a black legend to boxing fans. Frankly I’m neither which makes me objective.
The NYC elites that own and control the media pick weeks to celebrate the life of Mohamed, and 15 seconds to celebrate Gordie. Here’s what I have to say......XXXX these racist propagandist liberal media pigs that have corrupted and co-opted the USA.

He played for the Houston Aeros (WHA) and then the Hartford Whalers (NHL) too, no?

He was a serious badazz. RIP.

Don't know about Jack. But Arnold Palmer, thankfully, is still alive and relatively healthy for a man of his age. Our local airport bears his name (he put up much of the seed money for it) and he has been extraordinarily generous with our community, hospitals and the like. Even his car dealership is a common site for high school fundraisers such as car washes and the like.
A you might guess from the foregoing, he is a staunch Republican and conservative.

Awesome player and his son Mark was a terrific player and equally classy individual. Rest in peace.
