I love sour cherries, wish I could ever find them. The Rainier cherries (white and red, not red) are the ONLY cherries with any flavor I ever find in SoCal. The red ones have no taste.
I lived in Zug, Switzerland where delicious cherries grew on every tree. It was such a treat for me. It’s the center where they make kirsch liqueur. One year everyone was so sad because it snowed over the blossoms and they knew it would be a bad cherry year.

Thanks everybody for the kind get well wishes. Just raided the medicine cabinet for cough syrup. UGH. I hate this stuff, especially in the summer when it’s great to get out and do things. Now back to my chair or maybe the bed.......

I took my mom to see Palin speak, this was after the McCain run, maybe 2011? We got up front, right in the fromt, we were just 2 feet from all the speakers. There were about 4 speakers sitting there, getting up when it was their turn. Mom said, after, “Sarah Palin is the real deal.” I just remember staring at Breitbart... Sigh... When he spoke it was like electricity. He was enveloped with an aura of life. Damn cute too.
Sweet little town. My wife and I stayed there for a few days, a no-itnerary European vacation. stayed downtown at the square (just about "closest to the lake"), walking distance to the aviary. Got there by accident, last train stop, it was late at night, so there we were!

As you guys know, I am still fighting naturally this strep throat, because antibiotics failed twice. I am putting oregano oil right on my neck over all the glands and throat at bedtime. Gargling with apple cider vinegar and warm water. Taking every 30-60 minutes a half tsp from my medicine: minced garlic and cayenne in raw honey. Doing better most days.
Oh my gosh, I know how painful strep throat is. What I’ve got is a mild case of the sniffles compared to that. Get better!!! And that’s an order from The Donald himself. Okay, well maybe not, but it sounded impressive didn’t it?
I know exactly where you stayed! Zug was an interesting place, to be sure. I worked “in the Marc Rich world” shall we say. It is the tax haven canton. Many international firms at least have a P.O. Box there. EVERYTHING in the world is traded there. From ANYWHERE to ANYWHERE. I know someone who did the books for what he was discovering was an Israeli arms trader. My boss was a very well known Israeli and this person told him what he was seeing in the bookkeeping, and my boss told him, “Don’t try to find out or ask any questions, the less you know the better,” and told me that he knew it was arms trading.
Best to be an attorney in that town. You don’t even have to work. Just sit there and get on the boards of these international companies, sign papers every week (no need to look at them), and make millions hand over fist.

Lol! You must be way more miserable than me since I’ve been doing this a week. I’m ok, just a bit fatigued and throat sometimes thick but not painful. Today is my “thinnest” throat feel in a week.

Yaelle try gargling with warm water and baking soda also baking soda draws out infection I am STILL VERY worried about this lingering the way it has!!! Have you gotten any advice from Nikos????
