Not true, that trees are my friends.

Every time I talk to one, it ignores me.

I wood try more, but I became board. I branched out, and started barking at them. ROOT! ROOT! ROOT!

Why woodn' it? You've already considered them as being shady and willing to disown you in the fall at the drop of a leaf.........

If you want a real companion then dandylion is your best bet. No matter how much you cut him down, he'll always come back to you.......

And if you're focusing on Maples, don't be a sap.........

I like trees too.

They kind of spruce a place up.

Watch out as nature may take its revenge. Yesterday, hubby was eating lunch at the park and sharing his fries with a friendly squirrel. He hollered at some teens who were chasing the ducks and they mouthed back but finally settled themselves at a shady table. One of the ducks flew into the tree above them and pooped on one of the morons. Hubby laughed and told them they deserved it. They left. Hubby and the squirrel finished their lunch in peace.
