White male physicians in the United States earn a whopping 35 percent more than their black male counterparts — even after accounting for factors such as field of medical specialty, experience, and hours worked.
Data published Tuesday in the British Medical Journal also showed a large gender gap. White female physicians earned 40 percent less than white men, and black women earned less still.

but seriously, have the libfags ever thought that part of the problem is that there are fewer black doctors, thus fewer OBGYNs, cardios, surgeons, etc. to bring up their average earnings? Because fewer of them work hard in school and behave? Or look how fewer blacks who do go to college proportionally study pre-med curricula.
I know that a white male doctor had to jump through every hoop, ace every test, and fight and claw his way through medical school. I don’t want a doctor who was shown the easy path, and got to slide his way through medical school. I am sure there are some great minority or women doctors out there, but with affirmative action, how do you know who is who?

Funny how that works, since Medicare and private insurance pay FIXED fees for services rendered. Nothing else is taken into consideration.
Perhaps the evil white doctors work longer hours, are more dedicated to their patients or have a larger practice base because of their COMPETENCE.

They left out a real big indicator and that is geographic region. The number of Doctors and the demand for them varies wildly also a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills is much more likely to make more money than one in podunkville.
These kind of stories are designed to race bait not inform. They are racist by design even as they try to allege racism.
Somewhat related, but I went to an assigned doctor for my FAA flight physical.
His name was something like “Abraham Israel Silverstein.”
I assumed he was Jewish. He was Methodist and claims to have nary a Jewish person in the woodpile. He said people have always thought he was Jewish.
I asked if he considered changing his name.
He replied: “Not a chance. It’s good for business.”
With all the affirmative action, it’s hard to trust a black doc, though I have had some and it worked for me.
Let’s see. A vast majority of doctors are white, they have also likely practiced longer than their dark skinned brothers. They also likely are in more affluent neighborhoods. Makes sense. Time a capitalism is all it takes to “equal” out.

BS. We all sign the same contracts. The highest paid doc in my practice is a black cardiologist.
These idiots do know that there are also factors like the size of the hospital, number of people seen, and even the physical location of the building? Not to mention types of payments they take.
Or the black doctors may be pressed to serve black patients, a disproportional number of whom are on Medicaid or other welfare programs, which cuts into their earnings.
