Carville: 'There’s some chance’ Trump isn’t nominee
The Hill ^ | June 8, 2016 | Mark Hensch

James Carville on Tuesday said the GOP could still avoid making Donald Trump their presidential nominee after multiple controversies.

“I honestly believe this — there’s some chance Trump is not going to be the nominee,” the pundit said on MSNBC’s “Hardball.”

Carville said Republicans are rushing away from Trump after the billionaire criticized a judge’s Hispanic heritage.

“What we’re seeing here is a real unraveling,” he said. "I think this is going at a lot faster speed than we can imagine. I just think that when these things in politics start to happen, they just don’t st

He is creepy...creepy as hell, besides being a know it all,..and condescending as hell in a slimy, lawyerly sort of way. Like I said, I really miss Bill Bennett in that morning time slot (never thought I’d be saying that). I just called WBOB AM and voiced my opinion that this Hewitt is appalling and needs to be yanked off the station, or I’ll stop listening in the mornings.

"How in the hell would Trump, "be somehow bounced from the ticket"? You are weird."

I'm commenting on the article, which happens to be the subject of this thread. It's a 'what if' exercise. Try reading comprehension and then I'm not so weird.

Like Betsy McCaughey said so well to him this morning, he’s an enabler for the left. She said many other things to him as well,...really putting him in his place.

You’re entirely mistaken!!
I just called WBOB AM a moment ago and requested that they yank Hewitt off the air or I’ll quit listening in the mornings. I referred to him as “repulsive” and a player for the left.

I really don’t think there will be a GOP/Trump split, if for no other reason nobody wants to lead such a movement. Exhibit A is Bill Kristol’s drafting an unknown columnist to lead that movement. The GOP saw what Trump did to Jeb...and nobody wants to go through that.

Now on the left - Bernie might just go all the way, and splinter the rats. One can dream...

Now, as far as congress goes. We’ve already got a few ‘independents’ in there - and they seem to always caucus with the rats. Too much back scratching to not hitch a wagon to one of the major parties. I don’t think that would change, unless a significant number of splinter party members were elected.

Nah!! Trump is establishment at heart. He just wants it to be his establishment. This is a power struggle, not real change. Trump’s RINO pro-abortion establishment candidate, Renee Ellmers, went down like one of Mohammad Ali’s opponents yesterday. Yes’um! Trump is a sham. He is a patriotic Democrat wearing a Republican cloak. You have not seen anything yet. Wait until the political show is over and the real Trump is unleashed. Republican voters have been suckered again.

Yeah, there is “some” chance. He could have an undiagnosed aneurysm or other debilitating illness, he could be the victim of a homocidal maniac.

He is NOT changing his mind, and I can’t think of anything he could say or any uncovered past event that he couldn’t bounce back from.

Frankly, he has more people on board at this point than I expected. All negotiations must take place at or before the nomination, then the hard cutoff. Anyone who “changes his mind” because of Trump’s comments on the biased judge cannot be part of a long term solution, as such judges are the cause of half the political problems in this country, and we will need the political will to apply the underused constitutional remedy of impeachment sooner rather than later.

Good for Hannity.

He’s been a great surprise in this primary. I always figured him as a GOPe lackey and he’s sure proven that wrong.

This is a last ditch effort to unseat the DONALD. There was an AP article in our local paper this morning entitled, “KIRK says he won’t support DONALD TRUMP.”

Last words from a soon-to-be-defeated Illinois. SENATOR

You are 100% correct!!! The media looks like the total fools and buffoons they actually are. Trump set them up & they fell for it...hook, line & sinker!!! Then Trump....pulls the ploy....hey, Boys & Girls in the media...I ain’t talking about this low life “La Raza” America hater judge anymore!!!

Now.......the print & TV media will press with questions and will get nothing but more Trump tirades against failed Democrat, POTUS nominee, Hillary Clinton!!! Just like in the Clint Eastwood, Movie “The Outlaw Josey Wales” when the wounded rebel kid says to Josey Wales...” Hey, Josey we done whipped ‘em again, didn’t we, Josey”!! Love it!!!

Fact: Donald J. Trump received 1,729,783 votes in the five final GOP POTUS Primaries held yesterday throughout the country!!! The total GOP POTUS Primaries total was slightly over 2,000,000 votes!!! Mr. Trump has amassed well over 13,000, 000 million votes, that largest ever obtained from any Republican in the history of the Republican Party.

The insane James Carville is wannabe that never was!!! End of story!!!

Hugh Hewitt is demanding that Ryan and McConnell change the convention rules to make the first two ballots “advisory” and to require a super-majority to win the nomination.

How can anyone think that such patently anti-democratic shenanigans to make the vote irrelevant so that the GOP can anoint its chosen nominee would lead to anything but the permanent dissolution of the party?

The 3rd hour isn’t up for podcast on Hewitt. They usually put it up immediately. i wonder if they will skip the Betsy take-down.
