Republican Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk, facing a fight for his political survival, has withdrawn his support for Donald Trumps presidential bid.
Kirk is locked in a heated fight for his U.S. Senate seat against Democratic rival, U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth.
Kirk also split with Republican leadership over President Obamas Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, saying the Chicago area native should get a confirmation hearing in the Senate.
Kirk earlier had said he would support the presumptive GOP presidential nominee. In May, he told CNN Trump might help his re-election effort.
After much consideration, I have concluded that Donald Trump has not demonstrated the temperament necessary to assume the greatest officein the world, Kirk said in a statement.

Barely a dime's difference between this massive crybaby and Tammy Duckworth, right, Illinois?
So, he’s a panty-waisted, gutless, spineless, GOP Establishment hack.
OK, got it.
Should be drummed out of the party.
He’s a complete waste of time. Let him fall on his own.
Tammy Duckworth is more conservative than Mark Kirk!
Tell me why we need liberal Republicans around who vote and act like Democrats.
What’s the difference?
I’m voting Duckworth. First time ever I have voted democrat for anything. I want Illinois to go down in flames
The irony of this is President Trump might have four years of a coalition government that can actually solve things. How? If he were to say he's only going to do one term, both parties would have to accomplish things before the next election.

Not a haiku.
So... this *ssclown is casting a de facto vote for Hillary.
Ill is sick, sick, sick.....
I am Rain Man with the haikus. If I start I cannot stop, and hey look, I am off work in 17 minutes.
Like drugs, it’s best to simply never start.
Anyone who has elective office in Illinois and doesn’t care about the mass murder of blacks in Chicago, isn’t op-ed’ing about it weekly and marching to stop it monthly, proposing real solutions, is clearly a racist.
Lol. I enjoy them.
I wouldn’t vote for Mark Kirk either way, and didn’t when I lived in Illinois. Let Democrats be the baby-killer party. He’s a favorite talking head when a “reasonable” Republican has to be trotted out.
I don’t recall he ever publicly endorsed Trump.
A haiku:
Never heard of him
But his next career involves
“You want fries with that?”
Kirk is a natural born RINO.
AKA Worthless Pr1ck!
is it too late to primary this dude?
