"Sheriff Clarke is correct. Time to stand up for our rights and STOP running away. And, don't forget the Mace/Pepperspray."

God bless the shillelagh
Daaaaauuuuummmmmm !
That will definitely not work on Mexicans. They will get hungry and ask for the recipe.
When you have a choice that is safe and effective (pepper spray) why would you choose to mess around with something that may or may not work (like bug spray)?
There is a time to save a few buck. Purchasing something for self defense is NOT the time to go cheap.
“Is cheaper, but that appears to be about it. Just dont see any evidence that wasp spray is anywhere near as effective as a GOOD pepper spray, particularly one designed to shoot at long distances”
Well, you can light the wasp spray with a lighter as it comes out of the can, thus turning it into a small flame thrower...
Thank you.
I shot of pepper spray and the San Jose police who stood bye with hands in pockets will come after the Trump supporters and lock them up.
I am that huckleberry, and I have been jumped by 5 Amish on the street, and I did pretty damn good to keep myself alive and get the f out of there.
I was very amused that the one guy I did manage to muss up started to spread a story that the old white guy was the one who jumped all of them.
Canes are very good, but most canes are too light. Find a piece of wood that suits and Dremel your own. Interesting in a defensive sense, watch how the democracy protestors in China use umbrellas. Also, I know from experience a tough briefcase full of heavy items is devastating if you have the delts and tris to swing it, a real bonebreaker, as well as a shield.
Attitude is everything. I once had to get a POed tomcat out of a dark attic by grabbing it with my bare hands, I'd say the commitment adrenaline and focus is similar. But nothing they do will hurt, live to see tomorrow, THEN you'll hurt.
I posted the same stuff last night. I carry sabre red pepper jell with ultra voilet dye. and a several collapsable batons. The jell is easier to control from what i have seen in videos.
A cane may be the only option. From what Ive read, no weapons of any kind, pepper spray or mace are allowed into Trumps rallies. Rally goers are almost completely vulnerable when they leave the venue.>>> that’s a shame. I carry mine and my baton into work everyday and one is attached to my bike. i have a cane as well.
A belt with a nice heavy buckle works well to help clear the way. Easy to take off and swing away.
Works great when surounded.
I did also make a plastic Shillelagh from a 1/2 inch plastic pipe and a large plastic pipe glued to one end. I think it might need a rubber gripper. my dad has one i think he got in ireland that looks more like a small stick with a largge knot on the end. less stylish than yours.
I ordered some of these as well and i never got them. wonder where they went.
“...tacos too bland...”
LOL. I see what you did there.
“Well, you can light the wasp spray with a lighter as it comes out of the can, thus turning it into a small flame thrower...”
Been there, done that. After all, who HASN’T tried that approach to a homemade flame thrower!?
No, just a good lawyer, lots of money for legal fees, and the desire to end up in a criminal proceeding as the defendant.
Using a known, regulated substance such as pepper spray in self defense when necessary is defensible.
Using a toxic chemical you intentionally brought with you to some event to spray on someone takes away or severely damages the legitimacy of your claim of self defense.
The only time using wasp spray, or some other similar weapon would be legally defensible would be situations where you had no other choice, or it was the only thing available and the circumstances warranted use of deadly force. So, for example, if you happened to be working in your garage and someone attacked you, and you grabbed the first spray can you could reach to defend yourself, then the fact that you happened to end up spraying the assailant with wasp spray would not necessarily be a negative factor.
i also wear a 2” gun belt. good to know.
“Been there, done that. After all, who HASNT tried that approach to a homemade flame thrower!?”
Well, I thought most everyone knew about this... Works great for hornets and wasps! Adds just a bit more “ummph” and excitement to the task...
NYC doesn’t allow pepper spray; across the river here in NJ we can carry/use it.
