The actual number is probably far worse than what's being reported ... we'll know more in a few hours after people have had a chance to analyze the adjustments made to the raw data by government bureaucrats.

The numbers are way down because it rained. Or maybe it snowed or got hot or something. If those excuses don’t fit then let’s blame W.

Just in time for graduation.

Dishonest media “whispered” about 200K jobs - can’t blame 35K strikers at Verizon. Trump should/will ask how many jobs Crooked Hillary has ever created?

Really really bad report...

Only 26K private sector jobs. IT, Manufacturing and Construction all declined. Growth in healthcare.

Labor force participation tanked

Only positive was continued wage growth...

The numbers are a mess. Dollar tanking as the June rate hike is so far off the table that the table is gone.

There is no way to spin this number as anything but atrocious.

There will be an extra little spring in Obama's step today.

Must have been the weather, or the Verizon strike was actually 150,000 workers.

I’d like to read a deep dive on where these healthcare jobs are coming from. Probably not the VA, not Health Ins Co, they are getting killed with Odungacare Policies.

translation: Obama decided to re-cook the books in a way that will preclude the Fed from raising rates before the election.

This is terrible.

A recession is right around the corner.

America is crazy to put these people back into power. They believe a part time job is being employed. They believe unemployed is just fine and dandy.

And they expect to pay for everyone else to get endless benefits on the backs of those working, even if it is only part-time.

This is a disaster

Obama will blame Congress. Anything but his own policies that Hillary supports......expect something big to happen to get the focus off economy.

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for March was revised from +208,000 to +186,000, and the change for April was revised from +160,000 to +123,000. With these revisions, employment gains in March and April combined were 59,000 less than previously reported.

So if we are to infer that correction data from before as a harbinger of the current numbers revision....average revision downward was 29.5K. and this there were essentially near zero new jobs added.
