The judge did not act in a lawyerly manner and drag it out for ever and ever.
The DOJ should be held in contempt for objecting
The department has no qualms about spending millions for sensitivity training or mandatory training for all on such BS as “subtle sexual harassment,” “terrorism” - which is limited to only those groups the SPLC considers dangerous; right wing groups, in other words.
Ethics? We don’t need no stinkin’ ethics!
If the judge had ordered more “diversity” training to cover sensitivity to some new form of sexual depravity, they would have committed billions to it without batting an eye.
falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus - once a liar, always a liar. The attorneys took a gamble and lost, and their careers in law should be in jeopardy. And that qualifies them for the Mexifornia judiciary. So don’t feel bad for them.
Why is the justice department reimbursing these crooks for their ethics classes? This should be paid by the offending lawyers, not the taxpayers.
These sanctions were in lieu of jail time, which is what they should have received.
ethics is being POLITE
its called obstruction and its criminal....
with this administration there are no rules or law or JUSTICE
it is a dictated mockery of JUSTICE
an attempt to shred the law and the CONSTITUTION
by third rate political hacks
they hate America and all it stands for
The judge tried to let them off easy.
What he should have done, and should now do: File a complaint with their respective bars.
It’s a permanent black mark on their records, and they can kiss that cushy partnership goodbye. If it is one of multiple complaints, it may initiate disbarment proceedings.

The judge was an idiot. ‘Misleading’ the court is another way of saying perjury and the US Attorneys should have been prosecuted accordingly.
Of course, the law doesn’t apply to the servants of the Lords of the Beltway.
